A Weekend Diversion via the American Spectator Gala

As the American Spectator celebrated their 49th year at their annual Robert L. Bartley Gala, they generously honored me as the first recipient of the John von Kannon Service to the Movement Award, and asked me to share a few words. I talked about some principles for being effective, whether as a donor or doer, with plenty of jokes and funny stories throughout — as John himself might have done. Enjoy.

    That was a wonderful speech.

Is it too late for you to run for president? I think a few million speech-weary Republicans would really enjoy your speeches. :)
