Promoted from the Ricochet Member Feed by Editors Created with Sketch. Clinton Announces She’s for Taxpayer-funded Abortions

640px-Hillary_Clinton_April_2015
Hillary Clinton April 2015” by Hillary for Iowa.

Via NRO, Hillary Clinton wants to end the Hyde Amendment, which bans the use of federal funds for abortion except in cases of rape, incest, or danger to the life of the mother. Via C-SPAN, here’s the relevant portion of the speech in question, in which she also praises Planned Parenthood, whose political action group has already endorsed her for president.

While I doubt that the Hyde Amendment can be repealed given Republican control of the House and Senate, expect widespread protests and civil disobedience if it were to happen.

Clinton’s move signals how far left the Democratic candidate is, and how far she is willing to go to win the presidency. Like Obama, she will tear this country apart to gain power.

This is so disgusting it reminds me of this video that explains Planned Parenthoods’ and Hillary Clinton’s philosophical underpinnings:

(when I say disgusting I don’t mean to condemn or disagree with your comment)

It would only be a difference in degree, not in kind. Federal funding for Planned Parenthood, now there is an Orwellian euphemism if there ever was one, amounts to same. For all intents and purposes federal funds are already supporting abortion.

Since 35% of PP clinics are in black neighborhoods it seems strange that they would abort potential voters. Could that be the instant gratification that bringing in immigrants is all about? Not having to wait 18 years for someone to pull that democratic lever?

Was there ever any doubt? Felony belongs to the church of Leftism (Moloch). Its primary sacrament is abortion.

If I recall correctly, Margaret Sanger was a eugenicist, and by some accounts, a racist. She worked hard to bring down the birth rate in black communities.

According to NRO, Hillary Clinton announced this weekend that she wants to end the Hyde Amendment, which bans the use of federal funds for abortions except in cases of rape, incest, or in which the mother’s life is in danger. While I doubt that the amendment can be repealed given Republican control of the House and Senate, if it were to happen, expect widespread protests and civil disobedience.

Clinton’s move signals how far left the Democratic candidate is, and how far she is willing to go to win the Presidency. Like Obama, she will tear this country apart to gain power.

Does this mean she is willing to admit that she isn’t in favor of choice, not even when it comes to abortion?

Quite right. There is a group of African-American pastors on blackgenocide.org that point out that abortion is a very real war on the black community.

If Black Lives Matter wanted to stop being pathetic & actually earn some respect, do something about this.

True. The Hyde Amendment seems to be just an accounting gimmick for PP. I’ve never understood banning federal funds for the performance of abortions, and then giving federal funds to an organization that performs abortions so it can defer other costs.

It’s one reason I don’t do United Way. It’s true you can tell them which organization you want your money to go to, but that just lets them use unspecified donations of the organizations you don’t like.

Planned Parenthood is a morally repulsive organization – and the politicians like Herself who support PP are also morally repulsive. They see the killing of an infant in the womb as justifiable – I get sick to my stomach just writing those words. To borrow from the Left’s idiot David Brooks, it is the supporters of abortion, and their new leader, Hillary Clinton, who are dark and satanic.

Our pathetic President, for tonight’s SOTU, is apparently leaving an open seat in the First Lady’s box in remembrance of the victims of gun violence. The man who asked God to bless Planned Parenthood, will apparently make no such recognition for the innocent victims of abortion. What a hypocrite.

It doesn’t surprise me. Abortion is sacred for the left. It’s a religious rite.

By the way, I will be marching in Washington this Jan 22nd for the annual March for Life. Not sure if anyone else will be there, but if so, let me know.

This will be my first time. I’ve been trying to get there for the past three years, and for some reason or other just had a conflict, usually because of work. Was it last year where we had that sudden snow storm? I actually got in my car to drive the four+ hours down and then realized it was crazy in those conditions. So far this year, all systems are a go.

My advice: check the weather report and if it will be at all cold, wear snow pants and long johns. There is nothing I hate more than being deeply cold, and six hours mostly standing, and walking at a slow pace, is not good for warmth. Boots and warm socks. And those hand/foot warmer things are completely essential.

As a purely political act, I don’t get this. Clinton already has each and every person who is resolutely pro-abortion already in her camp. I don’t see how this stance gets her new followers, and there’s a good chance it costs her some who are on the fence. If we assume that there’s some polling behind this, I’d like to know what it is.

First, no one is surprised this is her position.
Second, progressives have no end game so they must keep turning the tap until it is wide open.

The liberal Progressivism that emerged in the 1910’s and 1920’s was closely associated with euthanasia and eugenics. Hitlerism checked this as a viable matter.

Yet, this is where they must go. Perfecting mankind with collectivism and science and not from within.

It’s a primary position. She’s losing to Bernie from her left. Must. kneel. before. Moloch.

There is nothing strange here at all. Just as there is nothing strange in the fact that more abortions lead to more illegitimate births, not less.

African-americans who get married and stay married, support themselves, raise children independently and educate them, would be of no use to the Democrats. The Democrats need African-americans with no dignity or self respect who are chronically dependent on the state for all their needs. Planned Parenthood plays a vital role in keeping blacks in this condition.

This is a good question. Perhaps she is thinking – trounce Bernie early, then roll up $1.5 billion to make her “likeable enough” so she can deal with Trump?

This issue is good inside the primaries – I am woman and I fight for you. It also baits men in the GOP to respond. Calling Todd Akin. Calling Todd Akin.

This is also a libertarian issue. Libertarians often side with abortion on demand. Some even side with having the government pay for it.

Roe v. Wade forced legal abortion on us. The Hyde Amendment gave those of us who believe that abortion is murder the small comfort that at least we weren’t a part of it. Now Hillary is demanding that we become complicit in the slaughter of millions of innocent children.

Thomas Jefferson once wrote that, “To compel a man to furnish contributions of money for the propagation of opinions which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.” But Hillary is going far beyond that. She demands that we be force to pay – not for speech with which we disagree – but for actions we believe to be evil.

I don’t believe that we are required to fight every evil and slay every dragon; but we are required, at the very least, to not support evil. We must fight the repeal of the Hyde Amendment with everything we have.
