The Group Writing posts often contain gems, too. I need to go back and review them as well! Any favorites you would care to recommend?
My favorite (and most underrated) post that I wrote in 2015 was this one.
Among my promoted posts, I consider this to be one for the ages. And this rant holds a special place in my heart.

Good ones all.
Right Angles snow post–“This isn’t Flying, It’s Falling with Style” was hysterical. I still chuckle at some of her images.
Yay! I was a runner-up.
I’ll pay you your five dollars later
And if I may return the compliment, I learned a lot from your posts on Buddhism, of which I realized I had a sketchy understanding. Here was the first of them:

Cash, small bills, please!
My favorite single post was the one I put up where I criticized Fred’s comment in the Daily Shot e-mail, and we carried on for 1200 comments.
But, now that I see these comments, the real plaudits should go for a body of work over several posts. I see two top candidates. I agree with BrentB67 about King Prawn’s series on his close encounters with the criminal justice system, and I agree with Titus Techera’s assessment of the quality of Ryan M’s posts about the world he inhabits.
Anything written by DocJay and/or Simon Templar.
Giggle …
Behave!
Someone’s gotta mention the elephant in the room: The various PITs.
Also Uncle Max’s recent schmuck/schlong/putz thread.
While going through my old comments, I found I’d forgotten Jennifer’s Posting while Intoxicated thread.
I like the silly threads, in case you hadn’t noticed.
The Contessa’s post about why she’s still single.
While looking for this, I came across her Scotch thread, which I’d also like to mention despite it technically being from 2014.
SoS, I missed all of these! Thanks for the links.
Anything by the all too rare Uncle Max.
My 9/11 post was the only one of mine not promoted to the main feed for which someone deserves to be fired. Who cares if it was posted on 9/12? It’s gold!
(If I don’t shamelessly promote myself, who will? You? Kate Braestrup?)
If I recall, Western Chauvinist had a good one about marijuana and taxes, though I don’t have the link.
Also, Saint Augustine posted a real eye-opener in November.
Just remembered Boss Mongo’s about the war in Bosnia.
Yeah, that was fun. “What’s the Strangest Thing You’ve Ever Eaten?” was intentionally fun.
It’s not everyday you read the words “llama semen”. Not even on the internet.
I missed that post by a few months. It would be interesting to read, but I’d have nothing interesting to add.
I hereby nominate my foray into poetic licentiousness.

The Dork Contest, I voted for it already but it should be mentioned more.
Really any of David Sussman’s writings, but I especially enjoyed his three-part series “Brothers of Israel,” especially in view of Israel’s current situation. Here is Part 1:

Anything written by you!
RightAngles’ skiing disaster post!
Mike LaRoche’s Are Men Afraid of Smart Women? (My contribution was classic if you don’t mind me saying.)
OMG How could I have failed to mention that one! Agree. (And agree re your contribution)
Somehow, as a FiCon with a take. no. prisoners. attitude about business, the Patriots, and Big 10 football, MLR – the academic and Seahawks/Texas Tech fan- is always the first one to whom I want to respond.
He’s got game and a true perception of sense and sensibility.
Happy New Year Mikey!
