Contributor Post Created with Sketch. Bill Clinton Is Right

On the “Late Show” last night, host Stephen Colbert asked The Big Dog why Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump have proven so popular on the campaign trail.

I’ve never been accused of being a Bill Clinton fan, but is analysis sounds right on the money. Do you agree?

(PS: Wow, does Bill look and sound old these days.)

If you think something is true, and later Bill Clinton agrees with you, then maybe you were wrong.

Remember when it seemed like everyone thought Hillary was the brains of the Clinton Gang?

    Good times…good times.

Richard Finlay:Bill’s response was so quick and so coherent, I assume these were prepared talking points (that reinforce the Dem mythos) and the questions were pre-arranged with Colbert. Political performance art.

Of course they were. Colbert is a liberal hack.

My New England mom always said that southern Democrats were like northern Republicans in terms of their beliefs, that people in the north do not understand that.

I’ve thought of that often with Bill Clinton as I watched him frequently play to the Democrats but be somewhat conservative when it came to some money and social issues.

If I didn’t know better, I’d swear he was a closet Trump supporter from what he said. :)

Can’t prove it, but I wouldn’t be surprised.

    Too funny.:)
