Aesop on Hillary Clinton

Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party met on the brink of a presidential election. The Clinton asked the party to carry her on its back to the nomination. The party asked, “How do I know you won’t sting me?” The Clinton said, “Because if I do, I will go down with you.”

The party was satisfied, so they set out. But in midstream, the Clinton stung the party. The party felt the onset of defeat and began to panic, knowing they both would go down. It had just enough time to gasp “Why?”

Replied the Clinton: “It is my nature…”

To all the Democrats, journalists, and pundits astonished at Hillary Clinton’s email scandal asking, “Why?”: Aesop answered this question 2,600 years ago.

But at this point, what difference does it make?

Doesn’t the wasp then pick up the paralyzed ant and place him in a small underground nursery with a single wasp egg?  When the egg hatches, the tiny wasp larva consumes the ant, alive but still paralyzed.  When the ant is consumed, a new wasp emerges from the nursery, finds a mate and then begins its hunt for another ant.

We’ve seen this before.  You’d think the ants would notice

I think the frog is clinging to the bank and is attempting to disentangle with the scorpion as we speak.

Any journalist astonished at anything the Clintons do has not been paying attention at all.  Considering that they all suffer from delusion or  willful neglect of lefty problems makes me question why the outrage?

This whole smelly thing has the fumes of Val Jarrett wafting from it.  As long as HRC stays in the race, the story has legs.   The moment she bows out, the story will die along with the journalists’ interest in covering it.

I don’t watch CNN 24×7, I do go past it a couple dozen times a day (it’s on every monitor in the building, in the halls, the break rooms, etc.). They are totally on to something else. Ferguson today.

As far as I can tell, E-mailgate has already been largely pushed into the memory hole by the MSM.

It is just depressing to think about this woman running for president.

    Just plain depressing.

    Mr. Gabriel Sir,

I think the volume and quality of your work is excellent. [BUT…]

Did you have this aesop fable already chambered to describe last November’s landslide winners? We made those Republican majorities so they would defend the Constitution. But it is the establishment’s nature to not upset the establishment. So they stung us and caved.

You had this ready to describe why the Republicans ignore their voters; but you decided to use it for Hillary because you’ll have plenty more opportunities to dig up some fable for Republicans abusing their supporters. Maybe some Orwell.

I have had a suspicion all along that Hillary & Bill are pulling the greatest con of all time. They have learned it is better the be a potential candidate for president than to actually run. They plan to pump this for all the cash they can raise and then find an out which preserves Hillary’s martyr status. The email thing is perfect. If she uses it to bow out, she will have been denied her due by petty opponents over a trivial matter.

No one will prosecute her if she bows out, and she will continue to be “the woman who should have been president” which is far more lucrative with no risk than actually being president.

Most of her loyal supporters will love her even more, heck, most of them fondly remember the glory days when Martin Sheen was president.

    True Con Artist genius.

Dog bites man – not news.  Man bites dog – news.  Hillary Clinton being corrupt is a dog bites man story.  Yes, a portion of the population will be surprised every time this happens, but there’s no getting through to them anyway.

I hope you’re right about how this story ends. I cannot bear the thought of those two back in the White House.

What a nightmare that would be.

The Dems don’t believe they have any alternative candidate.  Somehow, no one seems to have noticed that Al Gore has been making speeches in Iowa of late.  He is younger than Hillary, better qualified, and the last time he ran he garnered the majority of the popular vote.  Sooner or later, someone is going to notice…

For Liberal Boomers, I think that spot is forever the property of Bobby Kennedy (as most everything should rightfully belong to the Kennedys.)
