Ricochet is the best place on the internet to discuss the issues of the day, either through commenting on posts or writing your own for our active and dynamic community in a fully moderated environment. The New and Improved Ricochet Store
Every now and again when I post a piece of artwork people tell me that they’d love to have it on a t-shirt or a mug and I have to respectfully decline because of copyright issues. Now, however, I am pleased to announce that we’re introducing a new line of goods in our online store with a (hopefully) fresh and (hopefully) good humored take on the Ricochet way of life.
Here’s a look (below the fold) and if you don’t see something you’re interested in just let me know.
New Shirt Designs
- Never be ashamed again if someone doubts that you have “Skin in the Game.”
- Of course conservatism is cool and nobody’s cooler than our muse, Silent Cal. Be Cool with Coolidge!

It all started with the Flagship Podcast and this nifty design allows you to declare your allegiance to the Founder/Contributor of your choice. Please note that I believe it is possible to order the Midwest Division design on a yellow muscle shirt.* And, no, the West Coast version does not come with a blue sweater to wrap around your shoulders.
And for those of you that pine for the good old days of Ricochet 1.0 (and you all know who you are) we bring you Ricochet Classic complete with serifs and tilted “o.”
Besides the traditional standard logo coffee mugs, we wanted to let you know that we know what’s important to you in the wee earlies of the morning – your updated conversations and The Ricochet Daily Shot.
Sorry, Fred Cole. I know this means you have to get out your credit card. But how can you live without it?!?
And finally, we can’t forget about the kids. We brag about them when they’re born and everyone of them is special, talented, and has mom’s looks and dad’s brains.
More importantly they’re all being raised right. Or at least right-of-center. And for those of you who have shared your newborn announcements with us there’s the dream of a lifetime achieved at an early age.

The 101 mug is OK, but I’ve seen a more 504’s than 101’s on Ricochet.

I understand you are in a sometime congenial relationship with the copyright holder of the image below. Perhaps there could be limited-edition fundraising posters, bumper stickers, buttons and boaters supporting this gentleman’s doomed, long-shot candidacy.
Could we do something with the podcast logos on them? Superfeed on the front and the rest on the back, or something?

Love this! Maybe add a mug with the logo and a sock puppet? Since we can’t get Dime to quit, the least we could do is give him a mug shot.

I’ve got a suggestion for a customizable item that is on Zazzle. They’ve got USB flash drives that you can get in capacities of 8, 16, 32, and 64 GB in your choice of USB 2.0 and 3.0 speeds. They’ve got a swiveling cap and it would be kind of cool to have one with a Ricochet logo on it. Both sides of the cap can be printed on so a person could have their name put on the back side if they wanted. You can even change the color of the drive body and cap.

Man, you put up a picture of a giraffe and Troy comes running! ;)
If you go to Zazzle.com and do a search for giraffe, it comes up with 385,371 items so we’ve got a lot of possibilities. I thought about linking to one of the giraffe patterned flash drives in my comment above, but out of respect for Troy I refrained.
As of 5:30 et two of the podcast shirts and the classic shirt designs have yet to migrate into the store. You can’t push third party software.
You know who I am… I’ve already been there looking. Can we get the classic design on a coffee mug, too?
