Goodell, he lacks the preternatural confidence of the President as well as the slavish goodwill of the media. In my exchanges with friends and family, the consensus is he is doomed.
Goodell’s a leftist, pc hack. So is O. They are both losers. In any context.
You know there is a Condi for Commissioner push out there. Perhaps we should just make it a Condi for president push.
Goodell, has been an effective executive for the people that employ him, the owners. His current problem, the he didn’t take the law into his own hands and discipline an employee for a non-workplace criminal matter. far more harshly than the legal system did.
Going into this we already knew Rice had knocked his fiance’ unconscious and had dragged her from the elevator. What new information did the video actually add?
The president on the other had has a virtual cloud horrors that actually matter hovering over him and that are largely exacerbated by his actions and inactions.
As for Goodell, I continue to marvel how the MSM manages to refer to this as a NFL problem and not what it truly is — an ongoing problem among morally depraved subcultures.
This is getting interesting. Prez pulled into the lead with a good showing last night. But Goodell’s got a prime time Thursday night opportunity to screw things up.
