When Idiots Hire Idiots

Idiots3Michael Bloomberg’s $50 million folly is in full swing with YouTube videos and graphic campaigns. When you’re arguing a point. you should have a rudimentary idea of what you’re arguing about. Otherwise you look like the idiot you truly are.

Unless Bloomberg’s group has invented the multistage Saturn V bullet, I don’t think casings travel with the round.

Idiots.

     Man, that cracked Me up.

Hey, You gotta admit that that thing coming out of the barrel looks all pointy and dangerous.

Who is dumber than leftist propaganda?

    Nobody.

Who is this aimed at and who is likely to find it persuasive?  I almost find it pro-gun. It probably reinforces what you already feel about this issue.  For me, a home invader is not “faster than a speeding bullet.”

I agree. I thought it was a pro-gun ad at first.

If I hadn’t been able to locate that on their facebook page, I would have thought it was an E. J. Hill original parody.

    Let’s call ’em out.

    “End Gun Violence”

See how They use ‘gun’ as an adjective?

Ask ’em,”Why not ‘End fist violence?'” or “End Knife Violence?,”End Rope around the neck violence?” End Shoving someone off a bridge violence?'”

    This

greeted me on the door of my parents’ church when I showed up for services this morning.

A nice 4″ x 6″ sticker announcing that the building is full of unarmed potential victims.

Maybe I need to get a job with Bloomberg’s organization.  I bet I could come up with thousands of ways to sneak pro-gun messages into his campaign.

Percival, I don’t pay attention to those signs except when it’s a state border or a metal detector.  Bloomberg can stuff it.

Well, it got us noticing it.  And their audience might not recognize a bullet out of its casing.  It’s almost a test of gun ownership as to whether you notice.

“Comrade, what is wrong with this picture?  Now you are on the list.”

Looking at their Facebook page, I don’t think they know the difference between Apple and Cherry pie either.

Why does Bloomberg want to get guns out of the hands of law-abiding citizens? Why?

It freaks me out. I’m doubly freaked out that no one asks him the question — repeatedly — on camera — until he answers.

Maybe it’s supposed to be a .22 cartridge falling out of a .45 pistol, after an idiot just dropped it down the barrel?  The message is “Know your ammunition and know how to load it.”  It doesn’t surprise me that the people who don’t know the difference between a semi-automatic and a machine gun don’t know the difference between a bullet and a cartridge.

They’re going to have to make that page a comment-free zone.
I didn’t see even one comment that wasn’t in the whatta-buncha-dummies! vein.

It may look idiotic to us, but rest assured that this has been focus-grouped and tested.  Their audience is the fearful, the cowardly, and the nosy.  Bloomberg is throwing $50 million just for starters at this, just as a vanity project.  There are other, less vocal billionaires who are tossing in copius funding for this latest push.  They can buy ad space on TV, whereas pro-gun groups usually cannot.  They can plaster magazines and websites, whereas pro-gun groups cannot.

Don’t sell this guy short.  He’s a vain, vile, bossy villain, but he’s wiley, free of the burdens of public office, and a fanatic on this issue willing to spend “whatever it takes”.

Look, you right-wing nutjobs:  A bullet like that, traveling out of a high-powered, semi-automatic machine gun or assault rifle, has only one purpose: To kill innocent people and other living things.  Same with bullets from a revolver such as a Glock 9mm–especially those with high-capacity clips.  Same with shells from a rifle such as a shotgun.  They all must be banned, banned I tell you!  The Founders wrote the 2nd Amendment only to preserve the right of militias to keep and bear arms.  (And by “militia”, they meant those quaint groups with the three-cornered hats and the guns with the stick thingy that they used to jam the ball down the barrel.)  The Amendment says, “the right of militias to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”  It wasn’t referring to the people at all!  Gosh, you people are the idiots!

So this is a false-flag operation?  I followed the link you posted, which implied that the Bloomberg group had nothing to do with this image.  The point of the article seemed to be missed by most of the people commenting there.

It looks like there is speculation back and forth on whether it is real or not.  If it is not, then it is a beautiful work of parody.  http://bearingarms.com/everyfail-when-parody-perfectly-mimics-reality/

I still remember when I used to be a receptionist at my school (before I became a teacher).  I was pulled aside by my boss one time to be told that an angry non-custodial parent might be headed our way.  I thought about how worthless the “This is a weapon-free campus” sign was out front.  There are few people in position of power here who understand why schools are such fertile ground for suicidal sociopaths.  But gun owners understand…

What’s really stupid are the companies that prohibit employees from having a gun in their locked car in the company parking lot.  They hope to prevent workplace shootings.  Like a guy who has gone nuts will be walking out to his car in the morning with his guns and ammo for the purpose of killing a bunch of co-workers, then stop because he remembers that he could get fired for having a gun in his car.
