This morning marked the launch of a group that calls itself “Cherokees Demand Truth from Elizabeth Warren.” According to their website, the group consists of
authentic Cherokees and descendants devoted to sharing the truth about our history. Our mission is to help people understand what a real Cherokee is and to show why Elizabeth Warren claiming to be Cherokee without proof is harmful and offensive to us.
The group’s Facebook page already boasts about 500 members after just a few hours of existence, and has prompted a response from Warren’s office. Warren thinks its time to focus on the important issues — that is, the issues that do not call her integrity into question.
And in the meantime, MoveOn warns that it may have to pull the plug on the organization’s efforts to elect Warren.
All in all, a very good day for Scott Brown.Published in
