Fauxcahontas Had a Very Bad Day
This morning marked the launch of a group that calls itself “Cherokees Demand Truth from Elizabeth Warren.” According to their website, the group consists of
authentic Cherokees and descendants devoted to sharing the truth about our history. Our mission is to help people understand what a real Cherokee is and to show why Elizabeth Warren claiming to be Cherokee without proof is harmful and offensive to us.
The group’s Facebook page already boasts about 500 members after just a few hours of existence, and has prompted a response from Warren’s office. Warren thinks its time to focus on the important issues — that is, the issues that do not call her integrity into question.
And in the meantime, MoveOn warns that it may have to pull the plug on the organization’s efforts to elect Warren.
All in all, a very good day for Scott Brown.

Schadenfreude is a guilty pleasure, but a pleasure nonetheless.

Some automobiles have more Cherokee family history than Ms. Warren:
I joined the FB group, because my wife has high cheekbones, and so do both of my daughters…. close enough…. no?
“You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time.”

Did this self-described smart lady never learn that?
And here she thought she’d be scott free if she just avoided hiring a Guatemalan housekeeper.
She also claimed in 2011 to be the first “nursing mother” to take a bar exam in New Jersey.
One can only wonder how she could possibly know that to be true. There have been female lawyers in New Jersey for quite some time. And, as much as I respect nursing mothers, why exactly does that qualify her to be a United States Senator?

What an absurd thing to claim.
“She also claimed in 2011 to be the first “nursing mother” to take a bar exam in New Jersey.” Was that recipe in Pow Wow Chow too?
Looking at the pic at the top of this post (not Diane) I think I can indeed detect a hint of Cherokee in those high cheek bones. Good enough for me.

I’m embarrassed, but, no Miss Ellis, no You don’t. You have no idea of the many I simply entertain Myself with that may not entertain Anyone else.
Once you become a punchline …
I looked it up today. Recent polls had them even. And Brown has been something of a disappointment.
Maybe she made the cover of the New Jersey Bar Journal.
I noted in her speech that she used that as an excuse to the proctors to leave during the exam. (Apparently she had not yet learned to express herself.)
Given Scott Brown’s last opponent who ran a race as if she’d already won, and his present competition, I’d like to think there’s some hope for those of us in what are effectively one-party states. Eventually, the party gets so comfortable that they can’t see their own failings when said failings are staring at them right in the face.
It is enjoyable to watch the left getting a huge dose of its own medicine. Alinsky works for us now.
That photo calls for an EJHill manipulation: perhaps a headband with a feather in it.
Thought experiment: Given the choice between a very strange person and a conservative who is more liberal/moderate than desirable if there was an option to vote for NO ONE. I.e. voters could recognize that “we only have complete freaks on the ballot and in order to not embarrass our state we pass congress participation until we manage to line up arepresentative Representative”? Realize this will not happen but it would be nice to find a way to make sure that the least strange person (who normally wins the election) remembers that he/she is not really elected by very supportive electorate. It might – maybe too optimistic – instill some humility in the winner.
This is the state that gave us Teddy Kennedy for cryin out loud. If only she’d gotten drunk and killed a girl instead of impersonating a victim group she’d be ahead. Thank goodness for small favors.
While this appears to be disastrous to Pocaharvard’s political career, will it be harmful to her teaching slot? Will it cast a big shadow on Harvard for hiring her and promoting her based on her apparently non-existent ethnicity? No!! This is Hahvard!! and it is Massachusetts!!, making dishonesty a non-issue.
Next thing you know EW will claim to have jumped a shark, but this time she’ll be telling the truth.
Scott Brown may be a disappointment to the handful of very conservative voters in MA and the rest of us throughout the country, but he’s still on the right side of the issues more often than Teddy Kennedy was and than Elizabeth Warren would be.
Elizabeth Brown/ Maude Frickert separated at birth? You be the judge.
