The State of the Union Address is Going to be Lit

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson has invited President Trump to deliver his State of the Union address on March 4th. The event is sure to be raucous. Given all the revelations about fraud, waste, and abuse that Democrats refuse to address specifically, Trump will hopefully read out each example. Whether he pauses to shake his head or look directly at the Democrats and say, “Really?” or “Have you no shame?”…or “American taxpayers’ money to terrorists and terrorist affiliates? Really?” remains to be seen.

The Democrats are sure to heckle or stage a walkout…or perhaps all dress like handmaids. We do know that at least one Democrat congressman will dress like a woman. My suggestion would be that they all wear cones of shame around their necks…but that’s just me.

I just hope that Elon Musk is in the gallery and Trump calls on him to rise to the applause and cheers of Republicans in the chamber. I recommend the gladiatorial chant from, well, Gladiator: “Maximusk! Maximusk! Maximusk!

Technically, the first address of a term is not referred to as a State of the Union address. /pedantry

Bring on the winning and the popcorn.

But just think about it. By March, the way it is going, Trump (and Musk) will certainly know more about the “state of the union” than anyone else this century.

I would be entertained if I thought that Roberts would sustain the status of the Executive branch and its head, the President Who Happens to be Trump, and rejects the cases now percolating slowing in District courts. I do not expect that.
added: and would someone please tell me why Norm Eisen (and some other clowns) has a security clearance, at whatever level. Sounds like they were giving them away like door prizes.

Not just Eisen, what about Alvin Bragg and Letitia James? Who gave them a security clearance and why? Heads should roll.

I’ll bet Bragg and James needed to have them to cover for the coordination with the WH.

There is not truth to the rumor that Musk will show up to the State of the Union…in gladiatorial armor…none whatsoever…but I can’t wait to see the movie:

Invite the security dude that had face time (talk about courage under fire!) with Maxine Waters out in front of the Department of Education.

Trump should use as much material exposing these types as he can so those who view his speech can see them.

Obviously, any deficit spending increases do exactly that, and uncontrolled illegal immigration is a big contributor. The main point in the current dispute about  the Trump/Musk  DOGE project is big reductions in federal spending.

That face would more than stop a freight train . . . it would spontaneously explode . . .
