Christopher Wray Resigning
FBI Director Christopher Wray announced his resignation this afternoon in an internal FBI “townhall.” No timetable was given but presumably it will be before Donald Trump takes office.

so when does the shredding evidence begin?
got to hide the files against PTA parents and Latin Mass Catholics
Good riddance to bad garbage.
The FBI had Hunter’s laptop in December 2019. Wray knew that it was genuine but did not respond to the fake letter signed by 51 Intel officials. He’s disgusting.
So what’s the general predictions regarding Biden premptively pardoning all these Deep Staters? Do we think he does it?
His entire term has been highlighted by him (and/or those acting in his name) not executing the letter or the spirit of the duties of his office in the good faith required for this experiment to succeed. The destructive intent is the point of the (cynically) undefined “Hope and Change” that is still playing out. No prediction here but I expect more of the same.
Probably not unless he thinks Wray has some “dirt” on him or Hunter that needs to be/stay hidden.
Timetable? Not nearly soon enough.
Nearly as corrupt a pile of poop as James Comey and Andrew McCabe …
He mastered the art of never answering a question ….
it’s under investigation don’t you know ….
when will the investigation be completed ….
the completion of the investigation is still under investigation …
What a pathetic arhsehat.
This is where cameras in Congress are detrimental. If members were serious about getting real answers, committees would meet in executive session where law enforcement officials could talk freely. But they want to grandstand for the cameras so you’ll share their antics on social media. It’s all theater.
My understanding (probably wrong) is if the subject matter Congress is inquiring about is “under investigation” (either a criminal investigation of a personnel investigation), then Wray could not comment on the matter whether in public or executive session.
Of course you’re right. Powerful people on both sides use manipulation techniques all the time. It displays their contempt for the rest of us.
It was Wray that chose to focus the FBI on PTA moms and Trad Catholics with rosaries, while letting a Marxist assassinate the CEO of America’s 4th largest* company. Wray is evil.

I do not think the head of the FBI will be more honest without cameras. He is a professional liar. What would make a difference would be to change the format of 5 minutes of questions. It should be one person asking questions for 8 hours.
And they wouldn’t do that because every last one of those politicians would never give up their five minutes of preening.
I don’t care whatever you want to talk about, the mere presence of television cameras changes and distorts the moment. From politicians to witnesses, to speeches on the floor to athletes on field to people watching in the stands, cameras are played to. One of the biggest lies in the world is the phrase, “reality television.”
How could Wray not have such dirt? Biden’s CCP dalliance goes way back, just for one example. Sure, he was more interested in surveilling churches and charging parents for protesting at school board meetings, but he has more than enough information on Biden, Inc. to explain his completely unexpected pending suicide. And pardoning Wray just means we’ll be going after his immediate subordinates. No cabinet officer is an island.
It’s certainly a convenient excuse. It might even be true, from time to time. Wray used it to avoid answering how many FBI assets were present on January 6th, where they were, and what they were doing. One of the congressmen asked him how many undercover confidential sources were dressed as MAGA supporters and prepositioned inside the Capitol. When Wray hemmed and hawed, the congressman said with justifiable exasperation that the answer was zero, or ought to be.
By the way, 23 confidential human sources were present at the Capitol despite not being directed there. Eleven of them entered the restricted spaces (which is a crime), and three more entered the Capitol itself (another crime). None of them were charged with anything. If Wray didn’t know that, you can add incompetent to mendacious.
Then my point is Chris Wray is the GOAT of public officials not answering questions and hiding behind placing critical issues “under investigation” in a ploy to not answer the questions and publicly expose the corruption of institution he heads.
Furthermore, when the (R) try this schtick the MSM correctly loudly calls them on it, and when it’s the (D) the MSM is fine with the non-answers ….. nothing to see here folks Chris Wray wants to answer but just can’t do it for a few years or until the heat is off.
