This is Why We Should Be Happy That Patriots Shot a Lot of Redcoats

A former soldier who served in Afghanistan and Iraq has been sentenced to two years in prison for incendiary social media posts.  “We are already in a civil war” might be interpreted by some as an accurate description of the generalized anti-Western attack by immigrants who wish to impose the same failed culture of their old country on Britain. It is utterly bizarre that violence done while shouting “Allahu Akbar” should be considered far less serious than verbal condemnations of the ideology that inspires such violence.

Even noticing that an anti-Western cult is a problem and that it poses an actual threat to British people, their law and culture is now a thought crime in the UK.

The Brits now have a category of offense: “non-criminal hate incident,” or NCHI, which gives the state the right to harass, threaten or silence the offender.  (Apparently, expressing hatred of Jews in particular and non-Muslims in general does not count.)

The ever-so-enlightened ruling elite has refused to examine the rather obvious consequences of importing people who want all the benefits of British law and culture (in stark contrast to conditions in their countries of origin) while seeking to destroy it all.  Ingratitude and sheer stupidity should be grounds for immediate deportation.

If the truth is deemed an extremist view, then only extremists will utter it.

The honorable Ms. Lloyd-Clarke would not have a gavel and a wig if shariah were law.  The class of men she likely despises would be more willing to defend (or avenge) her if she were attacked by young men of indeterminate ethnicity with presumably unclear motives than she is willing to defend the rights of her likely defenders.

The beautiful people love to pretend they can find the “root causes” of bad behavior among favored victim groups, but there can be no such inquiry when white people act out in obvious, uncomplicated opposition to elitist idiocy.  What is the “root cause” of the widespread cognitive and moral failures on the part of our alleged betters?

    Absolutely astounding.

She thinks she’s a noble, enlightened, cosmopolitan.  But only a sheltered view of the world and a profound intolerance for dissention could possibly lead someone to such absurd ideas as hers.

It takes a lifetime of indoctrination to reach that point.

We’re just beginning to understand the impact of conceding control of our educational system to the left.  Imagine this in 10-20 years.

I wonder how people hold absurd ideas a lot and it’s current again with the new congressman coming to DC and the battle to keep him out of women’s bathrooms.

It takes a lifetime of indoctrination to reach that point.

It’s crazy that people are so willing to say with a straight face that a male most definitely is a woman now and must be allowed in women’s restrooms. An idea so stupid only an intellectual could hold it. They’re a bit like Gnostics who have hidden knowledge. If you say that it’s basic biology that there are two sexes and you can’t change between them, they reply that yes, that is basic biology but advanced biology explains multiple sexes and you’re backwards. It’s maddening.

We’re just beginning to understand the impact of conceding control of our educational system to the left. Imagine this in 10-20 years.

I don’t understand turning justice upside down by letting criminals free and jailing harmless people.

    Oh, it gets better:

Schoolboy, 9, among thousands investigated for non-crime hate incidents after calling classmate ‘r**ard’:

The nine-year-old in question called a fellow primary school pupil a “r**ard”, whilst in another instance, two secondary school girls are being looked into after they said another student smelled “like fish”

Downing Street is “reassessing its guidance”

after [Telegraph] journalist Allison Pearson became subject to an police investigation regarding a social media post she made a year ago.

Pearson has now claimed that the police have branded her “unethical,” because she reported her “awful experience” in the pages of her newspaper.

This is eerily reminiscent of the stories delivered by Mark Steyn (before he was fired by GBNews), that victims of the Rotherham grooming/rape gangs who spoke out on his show (specifically, I believe it was Samantha Smith) were visited and harassed by British police who told her that she shouldn’t speak out publicly about her experience.)

It’s my hope that among them, Allison Pearson, Kemi Badenoch, and J.K Rowling will sort this out.

The revolting American colonialists mostly considered themselves to be preserving the principles of Great Britain as the home country went astray. That tradition seems to be continuing. The British seem to have forgotten for over 250 years what made them great in the first place.

Sounds like people in Britain don’t have the right to whine about things, as is provided for in our First Amendment.  (I always like to defend the right to whine about things, including such governmental behaviors as are being discussed here.)

Some of the commenters here are giving the judge and her ilk too much credit, as if they were victims of indoctrination and “know not what they do”.  I think, on the other hand, that they are purely malicious, not incompetent.

The whole point is to attack and destroy the native people of the UK and their culture, with the destruction of Jews as a bonus.  The God of Abraham, as understood by Judaism and Christianity, sits at the heart of Western moral identity.  This is why Christians and Jews must be marginalized, vilified, attacked and ultimately destroyed.  Their moral worldview is an impediment to totalitarian rule.  The immigrants, whose crimes are explained away, or ignored, are shock troops to be weaponized against Christians and Jews.

Ignore the old lie, “Do not ascribe to malice that which can be explained by incompetence, or stupidity.”  Elites like Judge Lloyd-Clarke are neither stupid, nor delusional.  These people know exactly what they are doing and rest assured, it is malevolent and purposeful.

“That which can be explained by…”. Decisions like the one made by this judge and the decisions to send police to people’s homes to arrest them for social media posts, to prosecute the man who showed up with an Israeli flag at one of the “kill the Jews” rallies in London? They are, as you say, borne of malice. Ignorance and stupidity do not explain them. Evil does. See also a certain cartoon mouse who makes his noxious presence known here from time to time.

Part of the problem has been how awful the Tories have been on this issue, the Climate Change fraud, COVID tryanny and the like in which they’ve been as bad as the Labor party. Hopefully, the new Tory leaders are cut from stronger cloth than Boris, Cameron and the others.

I love England but they have lost the plot regarding freedom, partly because they don’t see it as an absolute the way we do, but mostly because not offending is a higher order good.

Insufficient.  Under Sharia law she couldn’t be a judge.  She likely couldn’t even leave home.

She (View Comment):Downing Street is “reassessing its guidance” after [Telegraph] journalist Allison Pearson became subject to an police investigation regarding a social media post she made a year ago.

Pearson has now claimed that the police have branded her “unethical,” because she reported her “awful experience” in the pages of her newspaper.

This is eerily reminiscent of the stories delivered by Mark Steyn (before he was fired by GBNews), that victims of the Rotherham grooming/rape gangs who spoke out on his show (specifically, I believe it was Samantha Smith) were visited and harassed by British police who told her that she shouldn’t speak out publicly about her experience.

It’s my hope that among them, Allison Pearson, Kemi Badenoch, and J.K Rowling will sort this out.

Well, in an update as of November 21, Allison Pearson, at least, has beaten the odds: Police drop investigation into Allison Pearson over tweet.

After a major backlash, including from Boris Johnson who called the inquiry an “appalling” attack on free speech, Essex Police announced on Thursday that it had closed its investigation.

Chief Constable Mark Hobrough, the National Police Chiefs’ Council hate crimes lead, will now conduct an independent review of the force’s handling of the case.

Reacting to the decision, Ms Pearson said that she was “vindicated”.

Allison Pearson [spoke] at an event on Thursday, an hour after receiving the news that her case would be dropped . “I am relieved but also it has been a dreadful experience, waking up, and going to sleep with dread. Waking up in the small hours thinking I am under police investigation, that’s not nice for anyone let alone a law-abiding citizen. I feel angry with Essex Police, I do not believe there was ever any case to answer, I was expressing my opinion in what I thought was a free society.”

She added: “It is a win for The Telegraph. I hope it is a win for common sense. I am vindicated personally but I have become far more concerned about how widespread this is and how it is casting a chilling effect on free speech. I would like to sincerely thank all The Telegraph readers, their support has meant the absolute world.”

I’d like to think that the “Wanker Coppers” (h/t Mark Steyn) would think twice before they next go after decent women, in their pajamas, in their own homes, preparing for a national service of remembrance, but I’m skeptical that will be the case.
