Anybody Catch Kamala’s Detroit Rally?

(I’m nowhere near Detroit, so I’m not really in a position to say much.  I’m just going by the published reports and footage here.)

Kamala held a rally in Detroit today, for “a crowd of more than 200 gathered in Western International High School’s gymnasium.” [Detroit News]  Here is the rally from Kamala’s official YouTube feed:

A high school gym?  Yep.  In a city of 630,000 you’d think that she could draw be a bigger crowd.

And the childish graphics in the background is not a good look.

Kamala speaks for 7 minutes, entirely pablum, starts out sounding psychotic, then calms down, and then leaves.

Ms. Lizzo speaks for 4-1/2 minutes.  “They say that if Kamala wins then the whole country will be like Detroit.”  Not the best.

And this…

I can’t believe this is such a mess of a campaign.

Flying back home this morning, my wife saw Air Force Two, but that’s as close as we’re getting to any rallies.

They don’t need Kamala to draw crowds.  All they need is to harvest ballots.

Don’t be silly. Kamala’s mass rallies are by invitation only!

Wouldn’t want those “Christ is Lord” types showing up by accident again.

Trump rallies are different than Kamala rallies.

This one was in the Republican stronghold of LONG ISLAND:

And this Trump in the Republican stronghold of DETROIT a couple of days ago.

How does Trump generate so much more enthusiasm than Kamala in a place like Detroit?  The last time a Republican was elected mayor of Detroit was 1957.  Is it possible that Republicans have more support in cities than we presume?  Is it possible that our elections don’t measure public sentiment as precisely as we might like?

If Kamala “wins”, which I presume she will, a lot of people are going to have a lot of questions…

The 2/3rds of Detroiters that have moved out (or died) were the Republicans.

Of all the clips in the OP, my favorite was driving along and looking at the homeless camp fires in the bike line.  Who thought it was a good idea to convert traffic lanes into bike lanes?   And on a one-way street makes it even worse.   Somebody thought it better to signal to eco-commies than understand how traffic is engineered.   You reap what you sow.

I also have that feeling that she will win. Maybe this article in part explains why.

The establishment Right’s failures over the last generations have been manifold. … Since the end of the Cold War, what trajectory-altering successes or victories can the Right cite to demonstrate its worth? … Despite spending billions of dollars supporting its infrastructure…the establishment Right has registered no clear gains and many clear losses.  Much of the nation was conquered on its watch.

Or perhaps it has something to do with left’s total control of the news media, educational establishment, government bureaucracies, social media, entertainment industry, etc etc etc.  Combined with their willingness to use election fraud and weaponize the justice department, FBI, CIA, etc.  Combined with their fear mongering on problems they either cause or make up, like environmental catastrophe and racism.

And even after all that, they BARELY win.

It’s embarrassing to be a Democrat.

I am not used to being optimistic about such things but …
Trump has gained or stayed the same in every poll sampled by RealClearPolitics.
Trump is now polling ahead in every swing state.
Kamala is way behind where Hillary and Biden were at this date in those campaigns.
Every Kamala outing is a disaster or merely further confirms her empty idiocy.
Dems are sliding in most competitive Senate races.
The uncounted/underestimated Trump voters in the polls may now exceed the expected suspect late night Dem surge.
Dems can no longer shame or intimidate blacks from speaking openly about supporting Trump.
The Catholic vote is no longer as distinctive but that IS STILL the key swing vote. Those are the bulk of Reagan Democrats and Nixon Democrats. Ford, Dole, McCain and Romney did not connect. Biden could fake a connection to ethnic roots. Kamala is poison.
What kind of an October surprise could the Dems possibly pull off at this point?

I remain cautiously optimistic that Trump will win — more so than I was in either 2016, when I thought it pretty much hopeless, or 2020.

If Trump loses, I think the Democratic Party had better do its very best to destroy the legitimate electoral process before the 2028 elections, because I think a Harris administration will be catastrophically bad for America and for the Democratic Party.

The most encouraging thing to me overall is that since Rona was sent packing, the RNC seems to be more proactive regarding voting fraud. A few months ago, Whatley said there are 500+ lawyers ready to go. They lost a case recently in GA, but at least they put up a fight.

200 people counts as a “rally” for the sitting Vice President of the United States and presidential candidate of one of the two major political parties in the U.S.?!

Possibly more as a critique of the Detroit News writer than of the Harris campaign (but then again maybe not), what does it say about a politician’s drawing power when it is important to mention the pop stars appearing on-stage with the politician?

But then Joe Biden supposedly received 81,000,000 votes despite not being able to attract more than a few dozen people to his “rallies.”

The idiots speaking at that rally come off like a satire of a Democrat rally.  It’s that bad.  Clear evidence of a large and well-funded echo chamber.

Detroit’s been getting what it’s asked for, good and hard, for at least 50 years now.  Enjoy, Detroit.  And enjoy your Kamamamamala voting.

Then, after the election is over, go back to dying slowly in a rotting urban landscape, wondering how this could have happened, when you voted for the right people, every single time.
