The Acolyte
“Star Wars: The Acolyte” has been canceled. Turns out the audience for a show with an openly sociopathic plot energetically defended by a deranged production staff is close to zero.
The plot of the Acolyte is simple. Female twins are separated at birth. One (May) is raised by a dark lord of the Sith, the other (Osha) by the Jedi. The Sith kills Osha’s Jedi friends from childhood and her female love interest. But she takes one look at his naked body and all is forgiven. She joins him, but not before killing the Jedi who raised her. The two mind-wipe May and leave her to be found by the Jedi before running off into the sunset. Along the way, about 30 lesbian space witches are accidentally killed by a female Jedi Master, played by Carrie-Anne Moss.
So a show written by a lesbian has the protagonist abandon a female love interest for the man who literally murdered her, a plot usually reserved for bad romance novels aimed at the teenage girl demographic. It’s hardly a surprise the show didn’t pull in enough viewers to justify its $180 million budget. But the drama doesn’t stop there. The Acolyte basically panders to a certain kind of sociopathic female sexual pervert, which happens to be the kind of women that work at the most progressive mainstream media outlets. They are currently prowling the internet looking for people to blame and deplatform for the cancellation of their beloved television show. Defamation lawyers have already started making themselves known to potential victims.
This is absurd. The U.S. has had a growing problem with sociopathic infiltration of institutions, but if all of them are this comical (and lazy–I’m not joking about the defamation lawyers), the problem might just take care of itself.

Communist Lesbian Space Witches.
That pretty much epitomizes the Acolyte.
I got sucked into watching that dreck. I could not tear my eyes away. Each episode was worse than the previous.
The show highlighted terrible writing, stilted dialogue, unbearable forced wokeness, and horrible acting.
It had zero redeeming value except for the fact it may have put a stake in the heart of the corpse that Disney Starwars has become.
I saw a clip of that “Power of One” scene. Once I stopped laughing, I wondered what kind of twisted mind could conceive of such a stupid idea and use it to destroy a once-beloved franchise . . .
Leslye Headland and Kathleen Kennedy. Kennedy was Harvey Weinstein’s personal assistant. Thats how twisted.

“30 Lesbian space witches”
What more could a discerning viewer ask?
Wow, so much worse than I could have imagined.
I couldn’t even watch “Star Trek: Discovery” or “Picard.”
Trans lesbian space witches of color?
Kathleen Kennedy never worked for Harvey Weinstein. She was Steven Spielberg’s assistant.
Right, Leslie Headland was the one to work for Weinstein.
The name of my indie folk band.
Never heard of it. Is this one of those Star Trek things?
“Use the Force, Harry!” – Gandalf
I saw 30 Lesbian Space Witches open for Sarah McLachlan at Lilith Fair in ‘99.
Isn’t “30 Lesbian Space Witches” just another name for “Lilith Fair?”
I stand corrected.
It was Leslye Headland, the show runner for the Acolyte who was Weinstein’s personal assistant.
And she was appointed to that position by , Kathleen Kennedy.
