A Good Girl
K9 Luna found 130 pounds of meth this weekend. I’ve spent a fair amount of time with Corporal Boerner and Luna (I was his high school math teacher).
He doesn’t leave her alone in the Tahoe too long as she knows how to turn on the overhead lights.

Yay K9 Luna! Such a smart puppy.
MWD Dawg says “Good work, sis!” from across the Rainbow Bridge.
Imagine what Luna could find if you let her loose in FJB’s whitehouse
Good doggie!
Reminds me:
Congratulations to Luna and her handler.
She is a good girl!
Smart, too. I bet she doesn’t like reading in the dark.
My daughter has an attack dog training class in my field. They’ve gotten kicked out of local parks so I offered them a safe venue. Hmm, I wonder why. I love to watch. The discipline these dogs are under is intense. Being attacked by a dog is somehow a sport. They also do detection.
She has two police officers in her group along with a bunch of fans of the sport. I guess this is a preview of a future OP when I have more pics and more time.
From my new YouTube channel, YellowFin. I do mostly shorts.

Slightly off topic but this post brings to mind a book by T. Jefferson Parker, The Rescue. A drug sniffing dog ends up a ‘stray’ and becomes the object of desire to a little boy, a journalist, a DEA agent and a drug lord. Much of the story is written from the dog’s point of view. Different kind of book for Parker; he’s a good writer.
Now teach Luna how to turn on the siren.
