51 Whores Who Sold Their Honor– Incomparable John Kass on “The Letter”
Calling them by that name is an insult to whores the world over.
There are very few columnists whose writings I admire and deeply respect, of whom I make a real effort not to miss a single word they publish as I learn valuable lessons and insights from every one of them. Included — only a small sampling — in this group of the last journalists of the Old School tradition would certainly be Victor Davis Hanson, Roger Kimball, Mark Steyn, Mollie Hemingway, and several of her colleagues at The Federalist. In the top echelon of this seemingly ever-shrinking honor society, an endangered species if ever there was one, is John Kass, formerly of the Chicago Tribune, now the publisher of johnkassnews.com.
His work is, as the title suggests, incomparable. His style ranges from the hard-hitting type of investigative reporting one would expect from a reporter who spent most of his life telling the story of Chicago corruption, to poignant, heart-wrenching, touching, contemplative, and searching stories, such as one of his most famous columns, his Christmas column, “O Holy Night,” first published years ago and updated annually. It is simply beautiful and highly recommended.
He has had multiple health issues, some of which have been life-threatening, and he is just returning to writing again. On Sunday, he published a treatment on the cesspool we are living in under the Biden totalitarian regime (“Hunter, Joe and the Shameless 51”). It is one of the finest pieces I have seen, a reading of which should be required by every single American citizen. And there should be an additional requirement that all the comments on both his website, linked above, and those on X, be read as well, as some of those are quite perceptive.
Here are a few samples from this invaluable article, which has not only gone viral on X but has now been published nationally at RealClearPolitics. I hope they pique your interest sufficiently to open up the link and read it —at least once!
After setting the stage by noting how the corporate media is in total panic, “shrieking of impending doom if their decrepit and corrupt old Joe Biden fades in Thursday’s presidential debate,” and that 80 million of us are justifiably angry at the way the media and Silicon Valley rigged the last election by hiding the truth behind “The Laptop From Hell,” he suggests that we resist our justifiably indignant instincts and pause for a moment:
Instead, give your beloved country a little of your patience and a few moments of honest, quiet reflection. I’m talking of a silence that you might imagine it walking through an American Armed Forces cemetery in Northern France, or sitting in an American graveyard bright with poppies in Belgium.
Or perhaps your own backyard. Think of it. Yes, let’s avoid the partisan screaming for a moment and let’s go into a Midwestern backyard on this summer morning in late June. See it. A redwing blackbird sits on the fence, a red male cardinal trills from a white puffy branch of the hydrangea bush. So rather than demand your revenge just now, please think in silence and mourn the greatest nation in the history of the world.
He then briefly goes through the catalog of the 51 criminals of “the intel community” who pulled off one of the greatest con jobs in the history of American politics by writing the infamous letter stating that the laptop had all the earmarks of “Russian disinformation,” giving Biden the perfect tool to use in the final debate before the 2020 election. Polling since that time has been clear that something in the range of (from memory) approximately 16% of the voting public would not have voted for Biden had they known the laptop was legitimate, as was reported in the suppressed article in the New York Post a few days before the election.
There were 51 of them in total, 51 whores who sold their honor. 51 who sold America’s future for a partisan payoff like the cheapest and greasiest of corrupt Chicago aldermen. Should that be taught in the public schools?
***
It was a lie. The Hunter Biden laptop was not Russian disinformation. Biden knew this. The so-called “intelligence officials” knew this. And CNN and other corrupt corporate media carried the Democrat water.
***
These are the infamous spies who lied.
There is much more, or, as Kass puts it, “So many rocks under which Obama Deep State schemers have worked their various intrigues.” It is an invaluable source of material about the depth of the rot upon which our “leadership” rests in this nest of tyrants. I will send it to my Congressman, Matt Gaetz, and ask that he enter it into the Congressional Record, along with a request that I be informed why these traitors have not been forced to testify under oath before a congressional committee. As I am not a booker for the Sean Hannity Show, I know I’ll be lucky to get a response from one of his clerks to thank me for my inquiry about agricultural allotments (it has happened before!) but I will give it a shot nonetheless.
Speaking of which — why hasn’t the Republican majority Congress put these thugs under oath and forced them to tell the American public the exact extent of the knowledge they had about the legitimacy of the laptop?
Anyone? Anyone?
What are the chances they will do so before the election? Ice cubes in hell a rough estimate?
God Help us.

I have heard that a majority of the 51 were Republicans. The Deep State Coup was bi-partisan!
The last thing I would do is legitimate these guys by providing them a platform to go all Jesuitical about the circumstances surrounding their disgrace. I’d rather focus on investigating the DoJ and FBI hands that suppressed the fact of the laptop and blocked timely investigation. And yes DonG, all things Uniparty and Deep State are bipartisan. There are different nuances on each side of the aisle, but they are all united on the need to beggar those unwashed American peasants and SWAT them if they if they express a contrary opinion.
Great post Jim. These people are shameless!and they are devoid of moral character. I’ll say it: they are evil.
I loved the ending:
Thanks for this, Jim. It’s good to read a righteously angry man, and it brought back memories of Mike Royko. Here is a link to his article on Mayor Daley, a puritan compared to the Bidens, but nevertheless a model Democrat. It was written in 1968 just before the convention. https://chicago.suntimes.com/2019/3/20/18313778/classic-royko-mayor-richard-j-daley-dissected
Thanks for pointing us at this. I just linked the Kass article in a comment on my post at Chicago Boyz: Abuse of Authority, continued.
John Kass is a treasure. You can subscribe for free to his Substack; of course, you can support him with a paid subscription as well. His writing was always good when he was at the Chicago Tribune–he had the page two above the fold spot. When the Tribune was sold to some venture capital firm and the paper went down the tube, Kass was shoved to the back of the paper. He took a buyout. Leaving the Tribune liberated his writing, but his personal health challenges have really unleashed his work. He also is a fantastic cook.
How about revoking all security clearances and then charging them all with conspiracy to defraud the government. The process will be punishment. Try to tie them into FARA violation and let them contemplate what 50 years in a Fed cell feels like. Surely one or more of them has taken money or a trip to some foreign conference or speaking engagement. Try them in some county where the grand jury is filled with Cliven Bundy’s family.
Off topic but…if I recall correctly, somewhere in my stack of old newspaper clippings is a Royko column on the hazards of taking short dogs for a walk in the snow. Someday I’ll sort that stack out and find these old gems.
That issue is mentioned in the recent Dog Memes post.
It seems like it would suffice, and be more to the point practically, to concentrate on how the letter was put together. Who did it, how quickly was it assembled, who made the list, why these 51 – why did the perpetrators think these 51 were reliable for the scheme, did the people who put it together absolutely know that the laptop was real – drill down to the core that the FBI had the damned thing for over a year … they couldn’t determine whether it was a Russian fake in all that time? Then what good are they as an investigatory agency?
Expose everybody in government and the Biden campaign who had anything to do with it, prove that Biden knew he was full of ess when he interrupted Trump in the debate, rub everybody’s noses in it as hard as possible, prosecute anybody you can.
After all that, then publish the list of names, with full bios.
Then let them come forward and defend themselves. That would be entertaining.
Although, sadly as I think about it, I have no doubt that no matter how much you try to embarrass them in front of their friends and family and colleagues, most of their circles would still applaud them for lying, because Trump.
How do these people end up in positions of power? Brennan was known to have voted for the communist candidate post-Watergate, speaking of colluding with Russians. No matter how disgusted you are with the government, would anything ever lead you to vote for a communist? EVER??? And then he was recruited into the CIA?! And became the director under Obama after serving under Bush?!
It’s not that these people are whores. They betray everything America has stood for — most profoundly self government. They are the right arm of the police state America has become. The propaganda media is the left arm.
There are lots of swamp creatures that are nominally Republicans.
Strip all security clearance. Bar from entering Langley or FBI even as a tourist. Publicize the private firms that hire them as lacking integrity. These 51 are unambiguously without honor or professionalism. Keep listing their names on the anniversary of the bogus letter.
Strikes me as the classic definition of “traitor” although events of the last few years make one wonder if that word has any real meaning anymore in this Potemkin world the Obamas and Clintons and Bidens and all their sycophants have built to serve themselves.
For what it’s worth, I have sent the following message to my “Representative” in Congress-the quotation marks are used as he mainly represents himself and spends a great portion of his time on Fox News panels- asking point blank the question raised in the John Kass article. Yes, I know it will either be totally ignored or responded to with some pre-programmed blather having nothing to do with the issue I inquired about but if anyone can suggest anything else we ordinary citizens can do to try to finally get the attention of these denizens of the Deep State I would welcome and and all suggestions. For now, other than working as a poll worker again, as I have for the last few years, this is about the extent of what I know to do. I hope anyone who sees this little note will free to use it to communicate with your Congresscritter-who knows? It might finally get someone’s attention!
“Why haven’t the 51 traitors of the intel community who signed the letter that got Biden elected been called before Congress and put under oath to explain why they lied to the American people when they knew the laptop was legitimate? John Kass has written an excellent article about this act of treason accessible here — https://johnkassnews.com/hunter-joe-and-the-shameless-51/—-and I request that it be filed in the Congressional Record. My blog post on this issue is here: https://jimgeorge.substack.com/p/51-whores-who-sold-their-honor-incomparable. Please respond as I consider this one of the most important issues of our time and SOMEONE must be taking real action on it.
James A. George”
God Bless America!
here is an interesting tidbit – “journalist” and debate monitor for the first Debate Dana Bash’s ex-husband was one of those 51 intel agents.
Probably should have included your bar number or something, to not be instantly dismissed.
