The Worst Prime Minister in History
It’s a rare find in American media. A well-researched, knowledgeable article about Canadian politics and history. The author questions Justin Trudeau’s place in history: will he be the worst leader in Canadian history?
The Worst PM in Canadian History
Is Justin Trudeau the worst prime minister in history? The answer is, “Well, probably.” He’s a work in accelerated progress, though it must be said that he had immense help along the way: a compliant Parliament, an appointed Senate, a complicit Judiciary, and a bought-and-paid-for media have been loyally riding shotgun.
Yes, I believe he is, but this article makes the case that the race is much closer than I would score it. The contestants are:
- Pierre Trudeau (1968-1984)
- Jean Chretien (1993 – 2003)
- William Lyon Mackenzie King (1926-1930, 1935-1948)
Is it a coincidence that they’re all Liberals? No. The Liberal Party of Canada has been in government for the majority of Canadian history. So comfortable in governance, that they put their logo on the Canadian flag.

Reminds me again of this:
Cool. I had no idea “Just a water hole” never saw that meme before.
Thanks…
Do you trust the election process in Canada ?
Yes, for the most part. Its too widely distributed and too simple to be wholesale miscounted…
There isnt a centralized count, each polling station counts and records their own ballots. All voting is done with a paper ballot and a pencil.
The real concern is that the media is completely government sponsored and censored, so that large numbers of uninvolved people could be defrauded of their votes.
Can I just answer YES without reading the article. I say YES. He just comes across as a poser. Guy never had an original thought in his life.
I don’t know enough about Canadian history to have an educated opinion on the matter; but, Trudeau has been a terrible leader especially when judged based on basic things like civil liberties.
Also, he’s repulsive.
He’s like one of those guys in high school who wore weird, puff-sleeve-y shirts to school, talked about his dreams, and listened to Jethro Tull.
I guess this guy has a name . ;) Rhetorical question .
Oh gosh that’s wonderful. I knew some of those guys!
