Trump Indicted; Biden Not Indicted … Yet
The federal government has indicted Donald Trump on the classified documents found at his home in Mar-a-Lago. Trump is facing at least seven federal counts related to document handling and obstruction of justice. He has been ordered to appear in federal court in Miami on Tuesday.
The former president announced the news on Truth Social:
The corrupt Biden Administration has informed my attorneys that I have been Indicted, seemingly over the Boxes Hoax, even though Joe Biden has 1850 Boxes at the University of Delaware, additional Boxes in Chinatown, D.C., with even more Boxes at the University of Pennsylvania, and documents strewn all over his garage floor where he parks his Corvette, and which is “secured” by only a garage door that is paper thin, and open much of the time.
I never thought it possible that such a thing could happen to a former President of the United States, who received far more votes than any sitting President in the History of our Country, and is currently leading, by far, all Candidates, both Democrat and Republican, in Polls of the 2024 Presidential Election. I AM AN INNOCENT MAN!
This is indeed a DARK DAY for the United States of America. We are a Country in serious and rapid Decline, but together we will Make America Great Again!
Attorney General Merrick Garland launched an investigation in November 2022 to investigate Trump’s alleged improper retention of classified records.
Earlier Thursday, the FBI finally allowed members of the House Oversight Committee to view the FD-1023 document, which involves alleged legal violations by President Joe Biden.
According to Fox News Digital, an informant told the FBI in June 2020 that Biden was paid $5 million by an executive of the Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma Holdings, where his son Hunter Biden sat on the board.
Add to that Biden’s numerous classified documents scattered across the country, who knows how long the DoJ can remain silent.

Here goes the roller coaster ride. Fasten your seatbelts.
You know what the big scandal in Britain’s government is currently? Home Secretary Braverman tried to dodge a speeding ticket. Well, actually, she asked for help getting the penalty reduced by attending a class.
Meanwhile in the US, the state security apparatus. . .
The image that appeared in my mind directly after hearing this news today was of those same type of documents currently sitting on the floor beside a Corvette in Joe Biden’s garage. There are simply no words for any fair-minded person to speak today.
Sounds as though Biden should be impeached, removed, and barred from holding office.
“President” Biden is so undermined by his health infirmities he may escape paying for his corruption and crimes. Which is more likely to happen first, Biden is impeached and/or prosecuted? or Biden tumbles down a staircase playing World Leader. Who will go first, Carter or Biden?
Although I was no fan of Bill Clinton, I was completely against the ruling made by the Supreme Court that allowed the Paula Jones lawsuit to go forward while he was still in office. That single decision went a long way in weakening the prestige and power of the presidency and opened he/she up to ridicule previously unthinkable. We are now reaping what that court sowed.
It’s not just the subversion of our law enforcement institutions; the DOJ, FBI, etc. that bothers me. You expect some “rotten eggs” in any organization. It’s the fact it’s become so pervasive that they can take it to such an extreme degree. It speaks to the agencies in question, and those who run them, being utterly and remorselessly corrupt.
It is now clear what kind of nation we live in today. We had a good run while it lasted.
Blatantly so; that’s what is frightening.
Stray Voltage and strategic electioneering again.
Stray Voltage: this comes out as the Biden-Burisma/et al
(alleged)corruption revelations are increasing.Strategic Electioneering: Democrats are trying to pick their preferred opponent in the general.
We are a banana republic now. I want that to change, so I will vote for any Republican who gets the nomination in the general. However, I have a strong preference that the Republican nominee be one who is most likely to win the general, and one who has demonstrated the ability to intelligently set things in motion that truly drain the swamp for the long term. Trump flushed out the swamp dwellers, but he failed to make permanent changes. I’m not sure he can successfully make long term changes now. If he is nominated he will have my full support, but I fear it will be futile. That’s why I’m looking at younger candidates who I believe not only see the problems, but see the solutions, and how to respond to the reactions of the enemy (the Democrats/Left) on multiple simultaneous trajectories.
I have been reflecting on the success of Obama’s promise to “fundamentally change America”. I (foolishly) scoffed at the time. I was wrong. He has fundamentally changed a large part of America. He and his “wingman” Holder set in motion evil, pernicious, long term changes that are now bearing ugly, corrupt, rotten fruit. We will never change back, not even to the mores of the 1990s. You can’t un-ring a bell. However, neither will the change continue in the direction the perverted Fascistic Democrats/Left would like and expect. There is a lot more change coming, and no one on earth knows how it will shake out. Except that things will not go back to the status quo ante. Neither will they continue on the current straight line trajectory that the fascist oligarchy currently ruling imagines.
Banana republics reportedly dispute the allegation that we are one of them and wonder where they may go to get their reputations back.
Really? How so? You don’t think Bill Clinton weakened the prestige of the presidency all by his little ole lonesome? Or that the current mass corruption of our government is because there’s too much accountability?
The Left has been working decades to get us to this point. They’re in charge now and the only people safe from the feds are people like the Clintons, Obamas, and Bidens. Donald Trump was always an outsider and the very idea that he’s “a threat to our democracy” has always been laughable. Or it would be if it wasn’t so nauseating. The power resides with the Left and they’re not even pretending anymore.
“Let me tell you, you take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you,” Schumer said.
Well, I can’t help but wonder how happy this makes Never Trump.
Bar from office.
We have been just that in the modern era since the election of 2000 and the hanging chads. Or, we might even go as far back in the past as the 1800’s where candidates would hand out free liquor at the polling place. In New York, voting even took place inside bars.
Scandals involving elected officials have reared their ugly heads since the beginning. Back in the early 20’s Warren Harding’s Secretary of the Interior Albert Fall, was convicted of accepting bribes from oil companies for leases and went to prison. Interestingly enough, no one doing the bribing went to prison.
As far as the Democrats are concerned this is totally acceptable. They learned something from the impeachment of Bill Clinton, namely it might not have been worth defending him. How different might the extremely close 2000 election had gone if it were Gov. George W. Bush vs an incumbent President Albert Gore?
If they could find a plausible reason to elevate Kamala Harris to the Oval Office, even with her cackling weaknesses, and put her on the debate stage promising to codify Roe? Stuff that in your ballot box.
Let’s see how Ronna and the RNC/GOPe respond.
I think rhe response of any prominent Republican should be pretty simple, something like “The rule of law is one of the most basic foundations of our country and our civilization. No one is above it. If Donald Trump violated the law he should face whatever those consequences are. We defer to the judicial system to make that determination, as that system does every day for Americans all across the country. We expect the same for Biden and any other Democrat who may also be in violation of the law. We will watch closely for any political bias in the prosecution of prominent political figures and press for investigation of any apparent disparities.”
That seems the mature and responsible way to go about it.
These charges are ridiculous. These charges mean that the President of the US is not allowed to share intelligence with allied or partner nations, or that every time he does so he violates the law.
The fact is that the President has plenary power with the documents that are produced by the executive branch and may dispose of them how he wishes.
Every person who has Original Classification authority (the power to make items of information classified) is delegated that power by the President (with the consent of the Senate) through the appointments process.
Want to know how I know this? Thanks to an idiot national guardsman flexing for his gamer buddies, everyone had to go through the “derivative classification training” again. As if once a year isn’t enough.
This indictment is beyond ridiculous.
This, by the way, is a completely different charge than is levied against Fmr President Trump. It is a whole different thing.
Then Vice President Biden has no power with regard to national policy other than that granted by then President Obama.
To accept money on behalf of a foreign entity to influence US policy is exactly the level of crime for which impeachment and conviction was created.
But, and I say this seriously, it is not treason.
Treason in the US has a very specific definition, namely
Emphasis added.
Since Congress has not declared Ukraine to be an Enemy (done via a declaration of war). What Biden is accused of is not Treason.
It is “treasonous” in the context of the English language, but it is not treason in the US.
For those of you who are armchair lawyers or even actual lawyers, the ROE used to justify killing people absent a declaration of war does not use the term “enemy”. Rather it authorizes military action against them by declaring them “hostile”.
I’d show you examples of this, but those are classified and I am not authorized to disclose them.
media will ignore Biden inc and focus on Trump.
Nothing will happen to Biden Inc
Nothing will happen to those in the FBI who covered for Biden Inc
and the permanent bureaucracy and those connected to the Fed Gov win again.
Bazinga.
I agree. Let’s see how this case holds up in an actual trial, with cross examination and the introduction of evidence.
Trump’s indictment comes down just as the Biden corruption investigation ramps up.
Huh. I wonder why.
Because the process is in way the punishment.
You guys are so cute!
It seems like the prosecution will have to convince all 12 jurors that Trump is guilty of the charges.
Can Trump and his attorneys create “reasonable doubt” in the mind of at least 1 of the 12 jurors? We will soon find out.
Again, ignoring the fact that the process is the punishment.
If the process reveals that the prosecution doesn’t have a serious case, this would be a positive for Trump and a negative for Biden in the eyes of the voters.
I’m not sure what it would take to convince some people that we don’t live under the rule of law anymore. A Secretary of State who walks away from knowingly exposing state secrets to our enemies via an unsecure private server (and a president who knows about it and does nothing)? A former Vice President (now President) with classified documents in his garage while lacking the authority to declassify them, unlike Trump? A Congressman who sleeps with a Chinese spy and retains his seat in Congress? A state security apparatus that targets pro-life activists and parents who attend school board meetings while “mostly peaceful,” summer of love, death and destruction protestors go unpunished? A ruling class which goes to Washington to get rich off insider trade deals and, oh, btw, pay for play schemes? I repeat, no one was paying Hunter Biden for his energy expertise.
The Left lives by the rule of the jungle — in which there are no rules, at least until they make them up (“preferred” pronoun diktats and vaccine mandates are some of the latest). Their utopian ends justify whatever means are necessary (to destroy Donald Trump, for example). Another name for “banana republic” is tyranny. The lack of consequences for Democrats ranging from Obama (“most scandal-free administration in history!”) to the Clintons to the Bidens to Fauci has emboldened them. They can do anything to us. They know it. We know it. And they know we know it.
So, when does Ron DeSantis get indicted?
It’s coming. You know it’s coming.
That is actually the rules of Calvinball from Calvin and Hobbes.
