Elder Abuse: What the Ghouls of the Biden Family Are Doing to Joe Biden

Dad suffered from dementia, and on what turned out to be one of my very last visits with him in the hospital, he thought I was his doctor. This is the kind of account that millions of us across the country could probably share, in one version or another, as countless families have been visited by that stealthy, evil disease that robbed our loved ones of their cognitive functioning in their last days. The very idea of sending Dad out among crowds, up steep airline stairs, walking on uneven surfaces or walking any distance at all, going on international flights lasting 18-20 hours, and in general being directed like an automaton by a group of ghouls, including his own closest family members, would have been unthinkable.

Not so with the truly awful Biden family, even if they have now reached the point where one more fall like that which just took place at the Air Force Academy could possibly be, and maybe more accurately, could probably be the last one.

If this is not Elder Abuse, what is?

Joe Biden trips and falls three times boarding Air Force One

Joe Biden is the last person i feel sorry for. They can abuse him to his grave for all I care. It’s the abuse they’re doing to the country that matters.

He’s probably all that stands between the family and indictments, so they’ll stand him up for as long as they can.

We should care about our country and do what we can to improve it. We should also care that those of diminished capacity are provided for when they are no longer capable.

Plus, he has been a nasty guy (and a liar) his whole life. I have no pity for him as a person.

But putting an empty shell into the presidency is clearly elder abuse, no matter how much he might deserve it.

Perhaps some of the loud Never Trumpers who trumpeted their “great” accomplishment in defeating their nemesis and electing this pathetic husk of a human being should come in for their share of the responsibiltity for where we are as a Nation today.

Sorry… no one despises what he and his entire family stands for and the corruption they have been engagede in all their lives more than I do  but perhaps if you had actually read the post you would have understood why I must adamantly disagree with your major premise. He is, as much as I vehemently disagree with everything about him, an aging, cognitively impaired, terribly disabled very old human being who should not be treated as a piece of meat in the abbatoir.

For what it’s worth, in case you wonder about my bona fides in making these statements, I am approaching my 89th milestone, so I have a very personal reason for being repulsed at the way these people are treating a man 9 years younger than yours truly. I know my family would never treat me this way. I hope you do too.

Exactly. I’m 85 and some days feel every day of it, so even though I have long considered Joe a despicable human being, I am still repulsed at the way his family and handlers treat him. He really should be in a home, not in the White House.

Screw this idiot.  He has always been dumb as a post. Still furious from watching him torch Robert Bork and Clarence Thomas when he was the Senate Judicial Committee chairman. Stuff you would expect from a law school moron who finished at the bottom of his class. But what happens to us when he continues to bumble around? President Kamala?  Tough 18 months ahead.

We have to be better than Democrats. Joe Biden is an awful human being with a laundry list of sins to account for. But, he should be retired and spending his days eating ice cream . . . preferably under house arrest with better caretakers than the current crew.

I repeat, if Democrats couldn’t exploit the weak and the vulnerable for political power, they’d have no use for them at all.

Joe Biden is at the very least a man who cares about political power more than America or virtue. At worst, he is a pedophile and a traitor of America to Chinese and/or Ukrainian interests.

Still, we have to be better than Democrats. What’s the point if we descend to their level?

He could be all those things and worse. But, it’s too late to inflict any meaningful retribution. He’s degenerated to the point that I doubt regret and repentance are even possible at this point. Give him his ice cream and tuck him in bed at 4:00pm for the remainder of the day. Maybe with an ankle bracelet, since dementia patients tend to wander off.

It’s his wife and remaining cognizant family who should go to prison.

And it’s frightening how weak America must appear to the world. It’s a good thing the populace is a “well-armed militia.”

I don’t feel sorry for Joe Biden.

I think I did at first. But then I remember how he called me a terrorist and a threat to Democracy. How he tried to get me fired for not taking a dangerous jab. How he sent his secret police force after my fellow conservatives and makes political prisoners of people who don’t vote the way he demands. I think of how in just a few short years he has utterly transformed this nation into a tyrannical police state.

So no, I hope the next time he trips and falls, he stays down.

Will it help if we don’t?  Or is the descent to tyranny inevitable, given the advantages Democrats gain with their behavior? What could possibly be an effective response?

Yes, I think we’re very close to tyranny and it’s likely irreversible.

Unlike a few Ricochetti I can think of with top-down solutions, I think the only hope is conversion of our fellow citizens one person at a time. So, I propose using the Socratic method on left-leaners and letting them expose their incoherence to themselves. Ask, “What if Trump repeatedly fell in public?” “What do you suppose the Russians or Chinese think of us when they see Biden literally stumble?” Etc.

These are sincere questions I ask myself, so I think I could ask them sincerely.

But the Republicans have to make clear they will stop, if the other side agree to stop also. I think that is a plausible tactic, but I don’t see anyone prominent proposing it, really. It would need to be explicit, or the descent continues.

Example: Harry Reid nuked filibusters for judicial appointments; McConnell took advantage of that, and even extended it to the Supreme Court. All good, and no more than the Democrats deserved. But what I would have liked to see (at some point) is some Republican saying, “Any time you want, we can go back to the old way; filibusters with a good level of deference to the choices of the Executive branch.”

That’s what I think would be a way back. Maybe it’s unrealistic. Maybe politicians love their newfound power more than the love the nation.

Tiresome.  I don’t have to be “better” than anybody.

And descend to what, exactly?  Not wanting an idiot to be president?  He’s wanted this all his life.  He’s lied and profited from this pursuit at the expense of others.  It’s a long list of selfishness and greed that has pervaded his entire adult life.

I agree that it’s elder abuse.  Should we, as a thoughtful and caring nation, go file complaints in every state on behalf of Joe Biden?  Swear out some affidavits?  What exactly are our responsibilities now, in this area, that his family and staff of leeches are abusing him?
