‘What Is a Woman?’ Free on Twitter

I highly recommend watching What Is a Woman? on Twitter if you have never seen it. It’s free through the weekend. I started watching it just to stick it to the left and intended to play it in the background while I did other things, but it turned out to be really interesting, so I quit doing my work and gave it my full attention.

Matt Walsh asks good questions of both advocates and opponents of gender confusion. I didn’t feel like he was asking gotcha questions or trying to trap his opponents, although I realize he controlled the editing. He had a good variety of pro and con voices, and there are a number of funny situations when the subject of the interview is so obviously uncomfortable with Matt’s simple questions. The interviews with the Maasai tribesmen in Kenya are worth the whole show – they are very clear on the differences between men and women, and at one point they have to be bleeped as they explain it.

I was concerned there would be a lot of graphic descriptions of child mutilation, which I can’t stand, but there was only one point where I was a little uncomfortable, and even that was not bad.

And it’s a clear, simple explainer of the issues involved, so it would be good to recommend to parents or kids who might have questions about it or who are considering getting involved in the trans mess.

I saw something the other day that some minions at Twitter still censored/blocked the release messages, and were quickly booted by Elon.

It was very well done. Some parts will make you laugh, some parts will make you angry. How Walsh keeps a straight face in some of those interviews is amazing. Everyone should watch it.

I watched it. It was well thought out, made clear the problem of the transgender industry and academia. It also pointed to the sad stories that have occurred because of the push for transgenderism. I highly recommend it.

What is a woman?  That is a question that men have been answering throughout history.  Now it seems women do not know either.

I was looking for a post to plant this link. This one is perfect. She makes the best case yet on gender confusion.

I just watched the full 90 minutes. Excellent. You have to wait until the last 30 seconds to get the answer.

Watch the Megyn piece for desert.

I watched it yesterday, June 3rd. It is wonderful. I gained some new respect for Walsh. It did a fine job of presenting the issue clearly and simply enough that no one who watches it who has half a brain could miss the message.

I regularly listen to Megyn Kelly, so I am well aware of and into her point of view. I guess I have never had any problem determining what a woman is and what isn’t a woman. Even as a preadolescent it was extremely simple for me to make that determination. The current nonsense is just that, nonsense. Men can’t become women, and women cannot become men. You can dress anyway you want, wear make-up, whatever turns your crank, but stay out of women’s restroom if you were born a biological man, and out of their changing rooms, and off their sports teams and competitions. PERIOD. THE END OF conversation.

I want you to know, Steve, that I never watch long videos, but I watched it on your recommendation. I am so spun up that I can barely see straight. I have written on the trans issue a number of times (and will probably write something about my reaction), but to see these doctors speak with such graciousness and certainty makes me physically ill. Still, I’m glad I watched it.

For those interested in long videos (just kidding, Susan), here’s Jordan Peterson’s interview with Dr. Miriam Grossman, who was one of the medical professionals in “What Is A Woman?” that was sounding the alarm on how transgender ideology (and surgery) is harming children. In this interview she discusses her work in counseling and supporting parents as they deal with how transgender ideology has estranged them from their children, and she also goes into much more detail about the story of John Money:

Peterson has also interviewed Sara Stockton, a licensed child and family therapist who also appeared in “What Is A Woman?”. “Dr. Jordan B. Peterson and Sara Stockton explore her past as a clinician in the field of Transgender care, how she helped co-author the processes by which gender-dysphoric children are assessed for medical intervention, and why she wholeheartedly regrets it now.” (from the YouTube description)

Miriam Grossman was really impressive in the movie. She was calm and rational about it, yet she was devastating. And you could see that she cared about the kids. I don’t know how one person pulls all that off, but she did.

The Walsh Mr and Mrs seem quite happy with each other at the end of the film. Yet  I still find myself wondering if when Mrs Walsh oversees the family budget, she isn’t occasionally nagging at Matt: “Good job, Matt. But next time couldn’t you charge the public at least 99 cents a view?”
