It’s Pride Month? Here Is My Pride Flag!

The so-called “Rainbow Flag” gets a month? Flag Day, June 14, gets one day? Memorial Day gets one day? Armistice Day gets one day? The birthday of our Beloved Nation gets one day? Here is my Pride Flag- it flies in my front yard every minute of every day, save those moments when weather forces me to protect it. It is the flag I love, even though it doesn’t get a whole month. Our Star Spangled Banner! How proud we are of thee!

God Bless America!

Good one. Now when will the U.S. Navy say this is the only flag we will fly.  Assume not for a couple of years at best.

What was the first widely publicized dedicated month? Black History month is what comes to mind for me. Perhaps February was chosen in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King , Jr. Before that, there were days for recognition. I think Black History Month came about because its originators felt it required time to teach the history lessons they felt were appropriate. The LGBTF movement has always tried to identify with civil rights.

Until things change, I strongly support academic schedules that end the school year before June 1.

That’s the flag of the country that flies the rainbow flag at its embassies, including at the Vatican.  The country that celebrates so-called pride month in support of perversion.

I’ve finally acknowledged to myself that we live on a horrible and wicked country, which is the leading exporter of evil in the world.

Why should we be proud of such a country, or its flag?

We need to take it (the country) back from the insidious Woke faction that seems intent on tearing down our country and its heritage in favor of… what?

leave it to our resident AZ patriot to find nothing good about America.  Our country is more than our government.

Because it is not really any of the things that you state, Jerry. Often when I read your words, I find it very difficult to follow Mark 12:31 but I am a work in progress and will continue do my best.

He does seem to test the limits of Mark 12:31, doesn’t he? Jerry, as I do not know you personally, the following cannot, by definition, be considered a personal comment, but I more and more find myself both feeling a kind of sadness that someone could be so miserable in their life and with the Nation of their home that they could make these kinds of statements about America and feeling an equal amount of gladness that I can acknowledge the misery, dishonesty, corruption, sleaze, slime, avarice, etc. of this administration but still have hope for our future.

To sum up how I feel about this country, here are portions of  a  comment I wrote in response to a superb post by @susanquinn about miracles:

    Susan Quinn (View Comment):

If anyone else would like to share an everyday miracle, please do. Your sharing might inspire others to see those miracles in their own lives.

I humbly accept this challenge and submit the following, wholly inadequate, list of just recent miracles in my life:

Living in the greatest Nation ever created by the mind of man; compared to what the system our genius Founding Fathers created has faced and overcome, our current travails look serious, yes, but nothing we cannot master. After all, we are just dealing with challenges of the criminal class; there are systems in place for that.

Our resilience, in the face of hurdles we all face, especially lately, in which My Lady’s ample share of said quality more than makes up for my deficiency.

The miracle of having men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice so that we may be free, the fallen we recognized this past Monday–the miracle of those warriors is best summed up in the words of one of the great Generals of all time, George S. Patton, when he said ““It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather, we should thank God that such men lived.”

Susan, these are just a few of the miracles which come to mind tonight; the list could go on for… well, forever. Regards.

Jerry, that’s a small – tiny!- sample of why I love America.

    Respectfully, Jim

I’ve been wondering about that ever since they dropped the “Gay” from Gay pride.  Why are they afraid to say it?  They are afraid to say “Global Warming” also.
