A Soldier Died Today

At a time when we speak out against the politicians who expect us to honor and celebrate them;

At a time when our government has little to commend it and much to criticize;

At a time when rancor fills our hearts as we watch bureaucrats manipulate and deceive our citizens . . .

It’s good to honor, not the military bureaucracy, but the soldiers who have sacrificed their lives, have stood up to evil and have courageously coped with the aftermath of their warrior disabilities and injuries.

Remember them. Thank them. Honor them.

And G-d bless them.

    I am upset that Boss Mongo didn’t get to his sixties but Joe Biden got to be eighty years old and the President of the United States.

    I know in my bones that this world is unfair but sometimes it really stings at just how unfair it is.

    But we are stilled blessed to be Americans. America made Boss Mongo and continues to make men like Boss Mongo.

    There is still alot of goodness in this country. Stand by it. Be stubborn like Boss Mongo.

    What a beautiful tribute, Henry. Life is not always fair, so we need to remember its beauty.

    I didn’t have the heart to delete the last “Like” notification I received from Boss Mongo. It stayed in my notifications list until they were wiped out in the software upgrade.

    I think many of us still mourn him. He touched many lives, for the good.

    Yes, I can see Boss in my mind’s eye crying out “Form on me!” to rally us and lead the fight. Such a great loss.

    I struggle with this. But we should see his life as a gain. When my Grandfather died, my father rightly said that we should all be happy at his funeral because the guy had a pretty awesome life and he got to help other Americans to be more awesome. Still my father cried at the funeral. He felt the great loss. But it was a loss because my Grandfather rivaled Boss Mongo in his awesomeness.

    We I should focus that I was we are are fortunate to have known Boss Mongo. His untimely loss hard but we should all be very grateful that he existed.
