Shaping up that way. The Swamp is gearing up with preps!

“Even a paranoid can have real enemies,” goes the old saying attributed to Prime Minister Golda Meir in pushing back against Henry Kissinger, who reportedly accused her of being paranoid in refusing to be more flexible in her dealings with Arabs. The eminent and time-proven correctness of her statement will have to be for another day. Still, it does illustrate the certain onslaught of liberal accusations of “conspiracy theorist” for those, like yours truly, who believe it is more than coincidental that the Capitol Police are issuing satellite phones to Senators “to ensure a redundant and secure means of communication during a disruptive event.” If it is paranoid to simply note the “coincindental” timing of this announcement just as the 2024 Presidential Election is getting underway and right when the other principal Republican candidate, our Governor, Ron DeSantis, is about to announce his candidacy, count me in. Here are some details from Gateway Pundit:

Sources confirmed to CBS News all 100 senators were offered the phones last month and more than 50 ( over four dozen) accepted Gibson’s offer. The senators who agreed to take the devices were urged to keep them close by during travel.

The report from CBS News does not say which lawmakers have possession of the phones. The phones are being fully paid with taxpayer dollars.

The Department of Homeland Security claims the phones are a security backstop in the case of an emergency that “takes out communications” in part of America.

A Department of Homeland Security advisory said satellite phones are a tool for responding to and coordinating government services in the case of a ‘man-made’ or natural disaster that wipes out communication.

Many conservatives including DC_Draino are expressing alarm that a cyber attack prior to the 2024 election would be used to justify changes in voting procedures that will benefit Joe Biden. He argues that senators are being issued the phones to prepare for this exact event.

I am squarely with @DC_Draino on this one and I must assume that anyone who has read a single news item in the past few years, especially those about the despicable persecutions of the January 6 defendants and the way they have been treated as if they were in the Gulag Archipelago, must see the potential danger in the foundation being laid for this “disruptive event,” as they are referring to it, to be launched just at the right time for massive, and illegal as in 2020, “emergency” legislation to alter election laws to assure the re-election of the pathetic, mindless robot now occupying the Oval Office.

And assuming we have become “paranoid” over the past few years, who wouldn’t be extremely distrustful of our institutions like the FBI, CIA, Department of Justice, to name a few, after they have lied to us about everything as most recently thoroughly corroborated by the Dunham Report?

Update: I had completed the text of this post and decided to do one final search to see if there were any further developments I should include. Voila! As if on cue, a Newsweek article appeared with this headline: ‘Emergency’ Satellite Phones Issued to Senators Fuel Conspiracy Claims. That didn’t take long, did it?

Perhaps more “paranoia,” followed by appropriate and proper action, would have served us well in the wretched, lawless, corrupt Obama-Biden administration. Maybe it’s high time we finally saw so many of these thugs for the street creatures they actually are as we now know beyond any serious doubt, thanks to the invaluable (albeit inexcusably late and weak on criminal referrals) Durham Report.

Conspiracy theory?

The comments to the Twitter post cited above contain some very interesting observations, including the fact that “they” are well on their way toward fomenting something as “they” now have to find a different “emergency” with the end of the pandemic. Proof? I don’t have any definitive proof but news items like the one cited above combined with a healthy suspicion bordering on certainty that the liberals, the elite, the Never Trumpers, the Deep State, the Administrative State, the media, the entertainment world, the New World Order and every single slimy, sleazy crawling creature behind Russia Russia Russia will do anything, absolutely anything, to assure, as former ( here insert smiley face of relief) Congresswoman Cheney put it, that Trump is never again anywhere near the Oval Office.

Question: why wouldn’t they go back to the playbook they know so well and which won big time for them in 2020?

I don’t have a good answer to that question. Do you?
