Two Victories over Gender Confusion
Maybe the tide is turning in the war over gender confusion with two recent high-profile victories.
The World Athletics Council banned biological men from competing in women’s events. They govern international track and field, including those events in the Olympics. The Olympics allows each sport’s governing bodies to make its own decisions, so this means that there will be sanity in some of the most watched Olympic events.
In the tragic shooting in Nashville, the police unapologetically (at least so far) identified the shooter as a female and didn’t even mention that she claimed to be a man until a reporter asked about it. Even then, they didn’t change their characterization.
Kudos to both!

Yes, in stark contrast to the reporting about the man (claiming to be a woman) who got hit in the goolies by a TSA worker. It was referred to as a woman.
Yeah, it was unclear at first because they said “she” but then they said “trans” which made you think it must be a guy, but it really was a female. But then the true villains . . .
I wonder if they will honor the chosen sex of the woman and send her to a men’s prison . . .
Her prison was described long ago:
Since you never want to hurt the feelings of a mass murderer, here come the apologies . . .
In the initial reporting the Nashville police were very clear, talking about “she” and “female” and only mentioning the gender confusion thing when a reporter asked about. I couldn’t find the link now, so I don’t know if it was taken down or I’m just not finding it.
