Preconceptions and Suspicions

This popped up on my Twitter feed today.

Without Googling or being snarky (I know, I know, snark on Ricochet? Perish the notion), what would you suspect this means?

Because on Twitter, oh, they have ideas about it.

Have George Soros and Klaus Schwab really dropped out of the Davos summit?

Soros, yes. Schwab, no. It’s Schwab’s meeting.

Three Martini Lunch today has some good take-down on this.

According to this, they have both pulled out, Schwab because of illness.

Look, Schwab did not pull out. Soros did, probably because of illness. I don’t know what the heck newspunch.com is, but Schwab’s remarks at the conference are all over the place. And it is actually good news because he is complaining that we peons are not listening to the anointed who are in attendance. People are finally on to the WEF’s nonsense. Looking forward to newspunch.com’s reaction to his appearance below, given their unsourced claim that he had pulled out of his own conference.

Did you hear that he physically left the event, or has not been seen on stage since the opening? The chairpeople of these global confabs typically give the opening, conduct a high profile interview a couple of days into it, and then give closing remarks. I suspect that this is what we will see over the next 72 hours. The real action at these conferences happens off stage. It is literally his conference. If he decided at the last minute not to attend, it would have been cancelled.

An integral part of the service of the High Priest on Yom Kippur involved taking two identical goats, one to be sacrificed and the other to be sent into the desert and plunged to its death over a cliff, carrying the sins of the nation.

The concept of “scapegoat” comes from this practice.

Are the two goats an example of a Jungian archetype?  If so, one of them, an environmentalist, might be taking upon itself the sins of the polluters, with those extruding rocks (at the bottom of a cliff) bringing about its death. How this is consistent with owning a private jet deserves more study.

You know, we long thought this was one of the worst decisions Jackson made in the LOTR movies, i.e. making the Mouth of Sauron look hideous and inhuman. The depiction in the book is much more disturbing, as he looks like a regular man.

Hey, Mick and Keith stay looking young through clean living – their souls are pure.  At least compared to these three.

A fake world government should have a fake police force. I have read that an all-access pass for WEF at Davos runs about $50,000. Klaus can afford a small army to protect the grift.

Bill Browder says they wanted 250K. He goes to these events to urge stronger action against Putin. He’s hanging around anyway.
