Biden Think Tank Has Classified Docs

Ten classified documents were discovered at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement, which houses documents from Biden’s vice presidency. Unlike the evil Trump, who secretly took highly classified documents containing nuclear launch codes to his lair at Mar-a-Lago in the wake of his failed effort to destroy American democracy on January 6, we can be confident that Biden had a perfectly good reason for having the classified documents. After all, we can’t expect a busy former vice president to oversee every document among the millions in his possession. And no doubt, although they were classified as Secret Compartmented Information, he may have thought that the SCI stamped on each page stood for “Strawberry Chocolate Ice cream.”

Since there was no FBI raid and no photographs of the documents were taken, we can’t be sure that there were actual classified documents found at Biden’s center. And honestly, the Archivist of the United States is not all that concerned about the matter, so Merrick Garland will probably just let it drop. After all, Garland is very busy prosecuting January 6th insurrectionists for bringing American flags into the Capitol, so he hardly has time to pursue trivial violations of the Espionage Act.

I was told not too long ago that the punishment for this kind of thing is execution.

I don’t know who told you that but he was either completely insane or purely evil.

Oxymoron of the day. Moron of the year.

Should be in sneer quotes: Biden “Think Tank.” Followed by bitter laughter.

Biden has a think tank so that others can do the thinking for him. You’ll notice he doesn’t have a sniff tank because he wants to do the sniffing himself.

GOPe will excuse it as well – I can see David French explain it away in his first NYT Op-ed

Is there any evidence Trump took ANY classified documents – let alone nuclear secrets – to Moscow, rather than Mar-A-Lago?

And after Biden’s “think tank” /bitter laughter/ got started at U Penn, the Chinese donated $61 million to the university. But, no worries (about money being fungible), we’re assured  ‘One hundred percent of the budget for the Penn Biden Center comes from university funds.’

With the second cache found by Biden aides that could have just as easily been burned than made public I can imagine there is another game afoot.  Maybe a two-for-one deal, where Biden gets to resign (maybe he wants to) on the basis he is not fit for office based on these discoveries.  He’ll stand on the podium (as the humble sacrificial lamb) saying that no man who is so careless with the nation’s most sensitive documents is qualified to be President, so he must regretfully resign and throw himself on our mercy.  Of course, because he was so remorseful and humble and there was no malicious intent (as with Hillary’s server) they will let him just go home.  Biden will then be the example the Democrats use to proclaim their high standard of morals, ethics, and patriotism, then demand the Republicans do no less.  Trump will then be likewise disqualified from office.  If they want to go further, they can claim Trump was the opposite of Biden.  He stole these documents on purpose and with sinister intent.  They’ve already set that narrative.

I doubt the critical difference between how a President versus a VP can handle such documents will ever be raised  by anyone except Trump.

I don’t know if Biden is willing to serve less than a full term.

If Biden isn’t offering himself up as a sacrifice and this is all legit, I wonder if he could just declassify the old docs now.  As President he has the authority to declassify all classified docs doesn’t he?  Does it matter which administration they came from?  Is it just from his own? Could he declassify docs from the Eisenhower or Kennedy admins?  If so, why not Obama’s?  I don’t know how the law works, but it seems there is an easy out they aren’t using (yet).  For example, even if its not legal, I’m sure the media and DOJ would carry the argument for him – IF THEY WANTED TO.  Or it might be technically legal, but not be ethical.  When did ethics ever stop him?
