What Is Karine Jean-Pierre Talking About?

This is KJB’s response to a question about Elon Musk and Twitter from an article by Sister Toldjah at Red State:

So, look, this is something that we’re certainly keeping an eye on. And, look, we — you know, we have always been very clear and — that when it comes to social media platforms, it is their responsibility to make sure that when it comes to misinformation, when we — when it comes to the hate that we’re seeing, that they take action, that they continue to take action.

Again, we’re all keeping a close eye on this. We’re all monitoring what’s — what’s currently occurring. And we see — you know, we see it with our own eyes of what you all are reporting and, just for ourselves, what’s happening on Twitter.

But again, social media companies have a responsibility to prevent their platforms from being used by any user to incite violence, especially violence directed at individual communities, as we have been seeing. And the President has been very clear on calling that out. He’ll continue to do that. And we’re going to continue to monitor the situation.

It seems as if we have some people who invoke the terms “hate and violence” whenever someone expresses contrary views publicly. We have legislative bodies to make laws and we have law enforcement agencies to “monitor” public behavior for violations and act when such violations of the law occur. What is the White House monitoring, she doesn’t say? Is there something here that I am just not seeing? They never even mention all Americans’ rights to free speech that is guaranteed in the Constitution.

She’s just using the pulpit to threaten a private company that isn’t doing the administrations bidding. Nothing to see here.

Bob Thompson: it is their responsibility to make sure that when it comes to misinformation, when we — when it comes to the hate that we’re seeing, that they take action, that they continue to take action.

    Even “misinformation” that is true.

“You can still get COVID after you are vaccinated.”

“Corona virus did not come from a bat”

    “Hunter Biden’s laptop”

These any many other stories were banned. Yet somehow peeing prostitutes and Russian collusion were all just obviously true, even though they weren’t. Basically, the DNC should have sole fact checking duties, even in cases where the truth really isn’t known yet.

Reading that quote from KJB reminds me that she is a perfect spokesperson for the Biden administration.

She has a very difficult time enunciating a position or program; it always seems to come out in a jumble of half-formed thoughts.

And Joe knows EXACTLY what she means!

Well, the one before her just lied. She was so good at it that MSNBC hired her right away.

Hmm, should I be sad for KJP that she can only lie well enough to be press secretary for a feeble Dimocrat “president,” but not well enough to get on MSNBC?

No, she is very good at emulating President Biden.

Yes that’s what I meant in #4.  But MSNBC wouldn’t hire Joe as a “commentator” either.

I’m actually anticipating a big impact in information delivery from Elon Musk’s new free speech policy at Twitter. So maybe KJP just meant that they were “watching” instead of the more ominous “monitoring”. After all, she also used those Leftist catchwords of “hate” and “violence” that is used around much of the rest of the western world to justify restrictions on speech.

KJP is, without a doubt, the dumbest press secretary that the White House has ever seen.

She is, however, the first “Black Lesbian” who has held the post.

    Go figure.

I wonder if she labors under the impression that hate and hate speech are illegal.

Likely, but even more troubling is there is no definition associated with these terms beyond hurting someone’s feelings.

It started with hate crime legislation. Advocates said, “No, silly, this isn’t going to lead to censorship of speech.”  Liars.

As a language nerd, I note the oxymoronic phrase “individual communities.” Not to mention all the other words she uses not to communicate. The point is to pretend to answer questions through the use of gelatinous language. So, in that sense, well done, KJP.

    I hate hate speech.

If you’re not hating something, you probably don’t have anything worth saying on the internet.

Democrats used to burn crosses, but they cut way back. They still like burning flags as ‘free speech’. But disagree with their narrative and it’s ‘hate’.

But I don’t hate them. I just hold them in contempt.
