Imperative for the GOP House: Stop US Taxpayer Funds for UN ‘Climate Reparations’
This story over at Fox News lays out the UN plans for a “loss and damage” fund to pay “reparations” to low-income countries for damage caused by rich countries’ pollution and supposed climate change. Don’t you know that the damage in poor countries caused by “floods, droughts, storms, famines, and heat-waves” is the fault of all the citizens of rich countries?
Are you aware that we in rich countries must pay poor countries for all the damage they are suffering and have suffered from climate change? Boy, that means that we in rich countries are mighty powerful, aren’t we? We should all feel so guilty for causing so much suffering in poor countries.
Um, no. Absolutely not. Anyone with a Republican Representative in Congress should be writing to them right now to make sure that zero dollars are appropriated for such graft. Our Public Purse is already way too committed to be able to issue more funds for fraudulent “climate reparations.”

Not just zero dollars. When refusing to appropriate money, Congress should make it clear that the concept itself is a non-starter. Nip this in the bud.
The Dems are very, very good at pushing money to their friends that kick some back. It is like a magic machine that teleports money into their coffers from future tax payers pockets. Climate Hoax is just another way.
WSJ has an editorial about it.
“Wealthy countries will now set up a fund to cover climate damage for the least developed countries—i.e., not China or middle-income nations. This will be financed from “a broad donor base” and “mosaic of solutions,” such as international development banks and taxes on aviation, shipping and fossil fuels.”
Taxes would have to be approved by Congress, but the Biden administration can find other sources.
It was bad enough that our liberal leaders have agreed that having our industries up and running is more harmful to Gaia than a factory owner in India or China having their industry up and running.
This means that should these ‘reparation monies” be approved, we are victims of reparations squared.
I find it alarming that young people these days see the planet not only as Our Mother, but as a super wise woman who can tell which emissions come from where. And then Mother Earth allows herself to suffer injury when she is knowing the emissions are of a Western society source, but no injury at all if they come from a developing nation.
I go for zero dollars to the UN, period. We should get out of this worthless, phony organization and boot them all out of New York. There’s some prime real estate there waiting for devlopment . . .
That’s been my position since 1960.
Everything I’ve read about this indicates it’s just another slush fund for the UN with a disproportionate number of “administrators” ready to grasp their inequitable share.
Guilt: the gift that keeps on giving.
That is the margarita posting. I like it!
Maybe if we attach some strings:
