Sweet. I feel that way about my son. Served in the USMC from 2004-2012. And my dad, who got his Purple Heart in Korea. Semper Fi, Dad. Semper Fi, darling baby boy.

    Happy Veterans Day.

I know you are from Georgia.  I remember that Leonard Nimoy said that his son was born in Georgia when he served in the army in Georgia.  I wonder what other famous people lived in Georgia when they served in the military?

Try “Band of Brothers” and “Toccoa Georgia”

No, they didn’t “live” there but running up and down Currahee Mountain gave them intimate knowledge of Georgia.  Inch by agonizing inch.

From Ohio? Well, that explains it!

Seriously, what was her military job?  I don’t recall seeing it.

Linda served in the Army Reserves in the Chemical Corps. She was a Platoon Leader. First it was stationed in Rome, and was Smoke Generation. Then moved to Smoke/Decontamination (mixed) then was turned into the world’s first BIDS unit, for biological detection of four different items.
