Only Experts Can Be This Dumb

This is really quite a remarkable video wherein Joe Scarborough says the Gospel of Jesus Christ is pro-abortion. How did we ever become this stupid? Mika looks on in awe thinking that Joe just destroyed the pro-life movement. It boggles the mind.

Joe Biden was right that there is a battle for the soul of the nation.

Satan seems to be winning on the Left: they have satanists, dog-fetishists, and a mentally deranged man who thinks he is a woman in positions of consequence and they are all-in on killing babies.

And to think that the man who leads the Left and leads this sick movement claims to be Catholic.

I guess we are battling for the soul of the nation, because there doesn’t seem to be much left of the mind of the nation.

Joe and Mika are Statists. The Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade has more to do with than just abortion. Statists believe that Washington DC should make every decision. The 50 states making decisions are a threat to Federal centralized control on any number of decisions involving Federal control of the United States.

A secular argument against abortion would be that eliminating future generations that would make a financial, and a cultural contribution to the nation is suicidal. Well over 60 million abortions have been performed in the US. One thing we should remember is that government does not produce any product. For example, the Dept. of Energy’s mission seems to be making sure that there will be no energy.

Are Joe and Mika practicing Christians, of any non-heretical denomination? If not, who cares what they say? (I bet they wouldn’t presume to lecture Hindus on what their religion teaches.)

We have no way of knowing what, in today’s terms, miraculous future discoveries or inventions might have emerged from the minds of those aborted today, now possibly lost forever.

We need to care what they say because they influence AWFLs and their male counterparts.

The left likes to co-opt Christianity for their own ends – it makes them feel clever.  Even though they don’t believe it. They usually get it wrong, and they’re too dumb to know it.

Always interesting when non-Christians try to tell believers what they should think. And his logic is, “Jesus never said it was bad.” Same is true of child rape so . . .

I guess, according to JoeNBC, Jesus also favored cannibalism since He didn’t mention that, either. It takes a great mind to host a program on the MSM.

I was going to mention cannibalism, but you beat me to it. I don’t believe Jesus said anything about rape, child abuse – we can easily make a list of heinous crimes that Jesus did not specifically condemn. He did mention divorce..

    I beg to differ:

1 Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!

2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. (St. Luke 17:1-2)

I’ve always thought of that in broad terms, in that it would include leading children astray, whereas physical abuse is what I specifically had in mind. But fair enough – and if Joe concedes that  Jesus’s words have authority, shouldn’t Joe be against the transgender ideology being taught to children?

    4. Strip clubs

    6. The Senate filibuster

Hey Eustace.  I’m not a theology major but Jesus probably covered #4 in Matthew 5:28, But I say unto you, that whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

I don’t know about the rest of you folks here at Ricochet but when I went to some of those “Gentlemens Clubs” in Atlanta, I had plenty of lust in my heart.

But, no big deal; anyone remember Jimmy Carter?

    Isn’t inconvenience enough?

I’ve got two daughters. 9 years old and 6 years old. I am going to teach them first of all about values and morals. But if they make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby.  ~Pres. B.H. Obama~

We’ve never not been this dumb. Slaveholders claimed the Bible justified slavery. (For a while, my son constantly reminded me. Strangely, it seems he heard nothing about the people who were sure the Bible did not justify and, perhaps, even condemned slavery.)
