A New Hope in the UK

Liz Truss, the new Prime Minister in the UK, has a number of big advantages: everyone seems to expect her government to be hapless in the face of all the crises facing the land.

I, on the other hand, am quite bullish about her. I think she is underestimated, which is often a very good thing in British politics. More importantly, I think she is the most pro-market, right-wing head of state in the world right now. And that is a very great opportunity, thanks to Brexit.

A few key appointments give me considerable hope: Kemi Badenoch, whom I backed for PM, has been put in charge of executing post-Brexit trade deals. She is a principled and brilliant lady, a deeply pro-trade person, capable of modeling the UK after Singapore in Europe. I expect great things.

Suella Braverman is the Home Secretary, and she is profoundly anti-Woke. She will assault wokedom throughout the civil service, especially in the police forces. If anyone is going to stop the insane grooming of white girls by Muslims, it will be Braverman. She is the best weapon we have right now against the insanity on the left.

Kwasi Kwarteng is the new Chancellor. He and Liz clearly stand for large-scale state deregulation and elimination of intrusive protections of workers and the environment.

Jacob Rees-Mogg, another key Truss ally, was moved into a powerful position – that of Business Secretary. Working closely with Mr. Kwarteng, he will be in charge of government efforts to bring people’s energy prices down. And if he does his job well, England will start fracking in earnest. The resources are there, and the UK needs to stop pretending that Green Energy will meet its needs.

Keep an eye out!

The primary reason for this collapse is Britain’s involvement in the Ukrainian War and the resulting energy and food crisis created by the war.

Isn’t that more of a catalyst? Isn’t the real problem decades of overspending, overregulation, and harmful environmental policues?

If the UK and Europe have learned anything from Putin’s shenanigans with energy supply, it is that the sooner Europe no longer relies on Russia for anything, the better.

Putin has grossly overplayed his energy hand. The entire campaign for Net Zero and Green Energy, which was funded by the Russians, is tumbling down over the coming months.

Saint: “Isn’t that more of a catalyst? Isn’t the real problem decades of overspending, overregulation, and harmful environmental policues?”

Of course, years of Progressive/ Green policies have eaten away at the foundation of their economy,  and  BoJo went even further than even the Dems here in disrupting Britain’s economy as a result of the Pandemic  like the good little WEF Stooge he is .

But this Energy/Food crisis is a mammoth Great Leap Forward into the collapse. They still had quite a ways to go toward collapse until this crisis which  really did them as well as the rest of Europe in.

Let ‘s hope.  The most puzzling thing to me after Russia shut down the gas pipeline why Biden did not say we will turn our gas frackers loose and give you all the LNG you need.  Would be a Truman 1948 type hero to the Euros. Guess AOC vetoed it.

There’s a bit of lead time involved, but yeah. If they were serious that is precisely what they should have done.

Wrongo. Putin has masterfully played his hand. Russia is now richer than it ever was.  The Russian people have experienced hardly any price inflation from the war. Putin now  controls much of   Europe through it’s energy supply.

Whatever Putin’s role was in NetZero or Green Energy it was never something benefitted Russia except to give them greater leverage over Europe’s energy supplies. That said the principal driver  of New Zero and Green Energy were and are the Progressive Greens and the WEF. By far.

It is not puzzling at all. Biden answers to his puppet masters at the WEF, not  to the American People. He has shown over and over again he does not care about America or the American People. Biden, even after all that has occurred in the energy markets, is still forcing people into electric cars and is curtailing gas frackers per his instructions form his puppet masters, and making all fossil fuels much more expensive.

To  continue , excerpted from Zerohedge:

“President Biden’s ambitious emissions-reduction goals that encourage investment in green energy to drive the country away from fossil fuels will be conducted in a series of executive actions, according to Houston Chronicle. This comes weeks after Congress approved $370 billion in clean energy funding that will pave the way for the US to slash emissions by half in eight years. “

“:Over the next year, the Biden administration will announce a series of federal policies to accelerate emission reductions for power plants and vehicles, the two most significant drivers of oil and natural gas demand. “

“These administrative actions are absolutely essential for the US to get to the science-based target of a 50% reduction by 2030,” said Matthew Davis, legislative director at the League of Conservation Voters. “They’re separate from the Inflation Reduction Act, but they’re also amplifying it,” he said. “

“Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen is expected to say in a speech in Detroit on Thursday that Biden’s emissions-reduction goals following recent climate legislation “will put us well on our way toward a future where we depend on the wind, sun, and other clean sources for our energy … and rid ourselves from our current dependence on fossil fuels and the whims of autocrats like Putin.”

“Yellen’s speech represents the clear objective of the administration: to rid the US of fossil fuels. Executive orders are the only way to accelerate a rapid expansion of electric vehicle sales and clean energy on the grid. “

“Oil and gas industry lobbyists sound the alarm over the administration’s quick transition to a green new world that will drive US energy prices through the roof. “

“Policymakers must know that a swift transition comes at a cost to the American consumer,” said Frank Macchiarola, senior vice president of policy at the American Petroleum Institute. “The burden falls upon them to put in place a regulatory structure that provides for stable energy markets,” he said. “

“Under the guise of extreme weather, such as heatwaves and droughts, President Biden has called for an expedited shift towards a green power grid: Despite Biden’s attempt to lower gas prices at the pump ahead of the midterm elections in November — the administration is still doing everything to crush the fossil fuel industry. “

“For example, EPA Administrator Michael Reagan has moved quickly to introduce a new rule, with a first draft expected in the spring of 2023, that would require limiting power plants’ carbon emissions — making it very expensive for coal and natural gas-fired generators to operate. “

“The regulations they would be pursuing would make it even less economical for utilities to open new fossil fuel power plants,” Davis said.”

“Such a new rule could create challenges for 37% of the nation’s power grid that relies on natural gas generation. “

These new rules are absolute irrational  nonsense and from a realistic point of view  cannot be  implemented  without incredibly  severe hardship to the American People.
