Sam Harris: Confessions from the Conspirators

Sam Harris was recently on the Triggermometry podcast (YouTube link below, so you can see the entire episode for yourself) when he admitted that the Hunter Biden laptop story suppression was a left-wing conspiracy to deny Donald Trump re-election. Just a quick cut:

On a side note – the expression on the hosts’ faces as he’s talking is absolutely priceless. Priceless!

Sam Harris agrees with Donald Trump that the 2020 election was stolen. While Donald Trump is aggrieved by this fact, Sam rejoices.

As a result of the 2016 Primary elections, the Democrat National Committee was sued by Bernie Sanders supporters who thought their candidate was deprived of a fair shot at the nomination. In defense of this lawsuit, the DNC stated that nowhere in their documentation of the primary election process do they promise a fair election. I cite this as concrete proof that Democrats do not believe in free and fair elections.

I never understood why this guy has a following. The “I am a smart and clever atheist!” shtick never really held up to scrutiny.

I’ve never paid a lot of attention to Sam Harris because we don’t agree on much. But it seems like he speaks to things he believes even when he may be wrong rather than trying to be deceptive with lies.

Because his mom created ‘The Golden Girls.’

Without that connection to the Hollywood publicity machine, he’d be teaching Comparative Religion at community college.

Now that I actually know who he is, I’m even more mystified.

If the guy spoke in complete sentences, I might have figured out what he said. What a despicable human being.

He had no response to the host’s question.  Trump University is worse than Joe Biden being on the hook to the Chinese.   What is the matter with these people?  And, by the way, who the heck is Sam Harris?

He’s one of those notorious atheists who was hot for a period of time and then disappeared. Wish he had stayed there…

Its funny. Sam thought the host’s objections to what he said was going to be the “Child corpses in the basement” not the whole subvert an election to prevent a republican victory thing…

Also I dont understand his logic… Trump University is worse than trafficking women for prostitution, chronic narcotic use… Not to mention the betrayal of public trust and bribery… How could any private corruption (Trump University) compare to the corruption of public offices?

Wow, this shows how out of it I am when it comes to pop-popularity personalities.  A couple of years ago, I heard of the profound pronouncements  of atheist Sam Harris, and thought Sam Harris was the guy who won the first year of Sear Search with his rendition of Somewhere Over the Rainbow (yes, he was) and I thought, “Huh, now he’s a philosopher.  Cool”  But different Sam Harris.  Then I thought he had sung a recent Bond theme: No, that was the mediocre Sam Smith.

No, Sam Harris is apparently a Hunter Biden clone, and supporter, a neuroscientist, and an intellectual.

With TDS.  Little does he know that SMOD was the number two choice in the 2020 election after Trump and before Joe Biden.  He has his priorities wrong.

It just goes to show that you can say anything if you keep a straight face, a well-modulated demeanor and your mind in your back pocket — just in case you may need it.

By the democrats own standards … By the expectations that they laid out in the 2016 election campaign. They have to admit – They really HAVE to admit – that the Trump Administration was a resounding success.

He didnt burn down the world. The economy and society was in a strong condition when he left office…

Cthulhu was ahead in the democrat primary polls… Hillary had those fixed as well.

    Ah. Nepotism strikes again.

Jonah, Kristol, J-Pod, Shrub, Jeb! Liz, Mittens, . . . this guy . . . all foisted upon us through nepotism.

He looks the worse for the TDS. I never followed him but from the handful of YouTube videos I’ve seen he seems to have changed since he was on tour with Jordan  Peterson and Douglas Murray. That sort of dead eyed bloated look that comes with psych meds or ideology.

Maybe I’m the dense one, but if you have a Ph. D. in cognitive neuroscience, why are you making a living writing books about philosophical concepts you don’t fully grasp? Why aren’t you doing research and on the tenure track at a decent university?

Same here.  Just for the heck of it, I looked him up in Wikipedia and saw that he is labeled as an “American Philosopher”.

In reading his bio, I saw that one person referred to him as “annoying” and “deluded”.  That description seems to be accurate.

Because these careers and organizations have standards of intellectual rigor that must be met before publication. Sam Harris would rather be a blogger, that lets any dumb hyperbolic thing that falls out of his face to be published as a gem of public discourse and thought.

Yeah, neuroscience is a lot of work, and takes a lot of thought.

In short, Sam Harris says it is very important to evangelize for atheism because religion is a lie.

And yet here Sam is lying in the service of an ideology.

I thought he was telling the truth giving us exactly why all the Left conspired to deny media coverage to Biden family crimes so Trump would lose the election.

More analysis of the Sam Harris interview:

By what justification are dead children in the basement is acceptable, but voter fraud is not acceptable? IF you’re willing to tolerate dead children, why would you not tolerate election fraud?

I agree with Matt here, this is the logic that allows greatest crimes to be committed. When moral truths are subjected to politics then its only a matter of time, before the bodies being buried will not be metaphorical.
