Trump’s Mar-A-Lago Home Raided by FBI

Via Fox News.

Former President Trump on Monday said that his Mar-a-Lago home in Florida is “under siege” by a “large group” of FBI agents.

“Nothing like this has ever happened to a President of the United States before. After working and cooperating with the relevant Government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate,” Trump said. “It is prosecutorial misconduct, the weaponization of the Justice System, and an attack by Radical Left Democrats who desperately don’t want me to run for President in 2024, especially based on recent polls, and who will likewise do anything to stop Republicans and Conservatives in the upcoming Midterm Elections.”

“Such an assault could only take place in broken, Third-World Countries. Sadly, America has now become one of those Countries, corrupt at a level not seen before,” Trump said, alleging that the FBI agents broke into his safe.

“What is the difference between this and Watergate, where operatives broke into the Democrat National Committee?” he said. “Here, in reverse, Democrats broke into the home of the 45th President of the United States.”

Multiple sources tell Fox News the FBI’s raid of Mar-a-Lago is related to the materials Trump allegedly brought to his private residence after his presidency concluded. That matter was referred to the Justice Department by the National Archives and Records Administration, which said it found classified material in 15 boxes at the residence.

Per the CNN article, he was not home at the time.

They are salivating for the Trump perp-walk.   They will charge him with something.  Doesn’t matter what.    They will bring him to DC.   And a DC jury will convict him of anything they are asked to.

I guess the legal term is “change of venue” and it will be denied. The enemy is within.

Truly scary.  I don’t tend to believe in conspiracies, but I keep going back to Chuck Schumer’s statement about intelligence agencies getting back at you.  Today we find out that the FBI director disrespected the US Senate, ignoring a direct request from Grassley to stay for 21 more minutes.  Instead, he thumbed his nose at him.   We had all those intelligence officials sign onto a letter they knew was an outright lie at worse and an outrageous attempt to mislead at the very least.   Now we have this.  No matter what you might think of Trump’s personality and political skills, he didn’t deserve the treatment he got.  We have a completely inept and dangerous president now and have had them in the past, and yet they weren’t touched.  Because they were insiders.  I simply can’t believe otherwise at this point.

Fascism is here. No more hyperbole — just fact.

    To appropriate Tom Wolfe:

The dark night of fascism is always descending on the Republican Party and yet just landed on the Democrats.

Now that they have their 87.000 new IRS enforcement agents they will be relentless in their pursuit of any and all enemies.   It’ll be the Tea Party targeting operation in Beastmode.

Now let us see is Trump gets even token support from the pond scum we call the GOP.

Yep. Play close attention to which Republicans give their tacit approval.

And vote every last one of those bastards out of office.

That is, if we’re even allowed to vote anymore.

    WoW!!!

Joe Biden just became the Penultimate President of the United States.

The one thing that has always separated the US republic is that US law enforcement investigates allegations of criminal conduct, not individuals and certainly not critics or opponents of the Administration. Joe Biden has crossed the line.

He should be impeached, Garland should be impeached, the judge(s) who signed off on these warrants should be impeached, every agent who takes part in this raid should be fired.

If any fact on any warrant or supporting document is anything less that 100% true – people need to go to jail.

I must say, I am curious to see what the FBI plants and then “discovers” then leaks to their media sycophants.

On the bright side, Andrew McCarthy doesn’t have to write a column this week. He can dust off an old “FBI/DOJ is full of honest patriotic civil servants” chestnut.

It would be hilarious if those files had Epstein’s and Maxwell’s Pedo-Island/Client lists.

Thank you never Trumpers. We tried to warn you about Biden but you wouldn’t listen.

And I am furious with every, single one of them. Do they spend a moment wondering What hell have we wrought? and What hell have we wrought upon others?

I put up a post last year, May God Forgive You, Because I Never Will. My feelings on the matter have become stronger.

You do realize that Jesus said that if you do not forgive, your Heavenly Father will not forgive you, right?  For your own sake, please reconsider.

They must actually believe he can win in 2024.

If they didn’t want him to run for president in 2024, this is the worst move they could’ve made. If Anything Would Drive President Trump into declaring his candidacy, this is the act that would do it.

Have you asked for forgiveness and been denied? I don’t recall reading repentance on the part of NTers here. In fact, I’d be surprised if Gary didn’t have a thrill run up his spine from this.

So forgiveness is conditional according to your “Heavenly Father”? What a bunch of crap…

If the GOP does not stand up as one then the game is over. There is no reason to support Republicans because they are simply part of a cabal.

Yes, but a wiretap is one thing to actually invade someone’s home and search is far more intrusive and combative… This is an order of magnitude more…

I figured out what they’re upto… Democrat PACs have been giving Millions of dollars to Trump endorsed candidates from Kari Lake for governor in Arizona to candidates for senate and congress from all over the country… Now that they’ve won the republican primaries – They’ll smear Trump – and by extension the candidates he endorsed in hopes that they can be defeated in the general mid term election.

I wouldn’t say that the FBI had no business being there, but they best have their ducks in a row and clearly verified before pulling this off. If not, these are the kinds of stunts that can break up countries and get lots of people killed.

No, they don’t have to do that. The FBI is the Stasi, and they can do whatever they want.

We’ll, never say never. My decision whether or not to forgive would be dependent upon 1. the sincerity of the apology. 2. Acknowledgment of wrongdoing. 3. Future behavior.

So far, I think the better comparison is with the KGB, which considered itself the “Sword and Shield of the Communist Party” … They seem to be acting like the sword and shield, protecting Hunter Biden and Hillary Clinton while attacking Trump…

Local news is bringing up the old Maggot Haberman story about Trump flushing documents down the toilet. Come on; it’s hard enough to flush toilet paper anymore with those new low-flow things. Well, if did flush them, why are they searching for them at Mar-a-lago? So far, I’ve heard nothing that made sense.
