We don’t live in a world of idealizations, however. Here we have finite lifetimes and finite points of view. The truth of our world is that parallel lines meet at the horizon.
In 1960 the Democrats conducted electoral theft on a national scale. It’s recognized today, and more importantly, it was recognized then but swept away, that their particular thefts in Chicago and along the Rio Grande changed the election’s outcome. It would be foolish to assume those were the only places they did it.
So the Wonder Boy ascended, to the acclaim of the national press, academia, and every child who ever wanted to be a prince or princess. Kennedy opened his term with a huge unforced debacle that cost many lives, humiliated our country, and would echo thru our foreign relations for decades. Soon enough, a more committed leftist killed him. His Vice President was one of the worst men ever to worm his way into our politics. The United States suffers to this day from Johnson’s stupidity.

Nancy Pelosi has been re-elected every two years since 1988, winning between 70-90% of the vote every time.

Her district is San Francisco. So that may be legit. Especially now that all the Republicans have left (both of them).
I suspect her numbers would be less spectacular if her district was in rural Utah.

If you’re a Democrat in San Francisco, why cheat?
In 2020, the “voter irregularities” were coincidentally always in the specific districts that would have the most impact for Democrats. They don’t have to cheat everywhere, so they don’t.
If memory serves, Joe Biden won 16.8% of the counties in the United States. But won the electoral vote.
The social statistics (or whatever you want to call it) of that election are incredibly interesting, and I mean that in a bad way. Like every trend and pattern was broken.
That’s not because it was the “most secure.” More like the “greatest vote fraud organization in history.”
Yabbut, Ronald Reagan’s campaign team got a copy of Jimmy Carter’s debate notes, so both parties are equally guilty of electoral fraud!
Jimmy Carter was an even worse debater than Mitt Romney. And his constituency was stricken with a mysterious malaise.
that’s always true of Democrat candidates in the modern era. They absolutely dominate urban America. I’ve read a lot of your articles; you’re a brilliant guy. the majority of counties in America have the same number of people as a few blocks in NYC, Seattle, LA, etc. Growing up in rural Oregon I didn’t realize just how thoroughly they dominated into I moved to Seattle. There are virtually no Republican voters here There are more elected Socialists than Republicans on the city council. The Democrat party is a larger party by registration, and its not close. They have undoubtedly the larger history of cheating, I don’t dispute that. But these arguments irk me from smart guys like yourself because I know you know better. The American population is heavily weighted toward a minority of counties. Here in the PNW people in eastern Washington often don’t understand how democrats do so well, since everyone they know leans to the right. the problem is, eastern WA is 25% of the states population. our political silos have grown so large everyone is detached from reality.
But we’re told regularly that Republicans will win in November and again in 2024 even though Democrats, who are even more corrupt and left wing than ever, who control the WH, Senate, House, half the mayors and governors, the media, top of the military and most police forces, are going to play fair enough to lose so we don’t have to plan anything.
Don’t forget that in 1960 the loser took it manfully, bided his time, and returned to the Presidency in 1968.
And how was he rewarded for this gentlemanly behavior? He was not.
I guess the historical lesson is that you should not behave the same way in 2020.
Once Democrats gain control of a district, they put a machine in place to guarantee no Republican will ever win again . . .
We have a choice but it will quickly vanish. Separate, take enough military to cause caution among the totalitarians. Taking military will cause caution because they’ll not know how many others would join if they’re asked to attack. We don’t even have to declare independence, just stop paying Federal taxes to Washington, claiming a bunch of documented reasons for holding back and to use funds to secure the borders which the Federal government refuses to do. Non border states help border states, the military taken is used to help secure borders. If Democrats steal the next election are we suppose to wait until they steal the presidential election?
Nobody has ever run against her.
