Is Slow Joe Our Most Corrupt President?
Think about taking a sabbatical from working with Jack the Mexican on the climate change fraud to work another topic in which I actually might have some expertise. Looking over Slow Joe’s finances and I saw a reference to his net worth in 2009, before he became VP, as $30,000. I think this is an obvious mistake. I was worth more than that as a Navy Lt. in 1974. I assume it was $300K since he had been sucking on taxpayer money of over $100K a year for 36 years. Maybe Hunter got it. Still not very impressive.
Today Joe’s worth more than $9 million with two properties worth over $4 million. San Fran stuff. How did he get there so fast? He didn’t do much heavy lifting for Obama. MSM says it was his cool $8 million for his valuable insights paid for some ignored books. And his great salary teaching at some college and his wife’s contributions. Does anything smell yet? So, nothing involving Hunter, his Russian, Ukrainian and Chinese pals? The Big Guy got nothing? An IRS auditor seeing this involving a guy named Trump would be at Condition One. I will start doing some checking. Might be a neat campaign ad. The guy is not only senile, stupid, and mean, he is a crook.

If you had something as specific as Hillary’s cattle futures, you might get some attention with it. But there is a lot of that stuff. The Democrats probably have more money to pass out to their politicians that way than Republicans do, but both have a lot of motivation not to make a big fuss out of it.
I no longer remember just how the information about Hillary’s cattle trading became known.
That’s one way that politicians get rich in office. And I would think it’s hard to prosecute. Maybe it isn’t even illegal, but I’m not sure.
In Russia you have something different, with money from big government projects going into private bank accounts. Alexei Navalny and his anti-corruption group have done wonderful work in digging into it, using publicly available information, phone tracking, drones, and other investigative techniques. Then they make satirical videos about it. Of course Navalny is now in prison after having survived an assassination attempt, and others of his group have also been locked up and/or fled the country. They’re still doing good work, but it has gotten a lot harder for them. And a lot of Russians believe the media, who cover for Putin and his oligarchs, just like our media cover for Biden and the administrative state. One thing that was different in Russia was the public on-line availability of property records and transactions, which Navalny’s group used over and over again to uncover money laundering schemes. I don’t remember exactly how the argument went, but somebody made the point that because Russia is so corrupt, it needed to have those public records just to keep track of things that wouldn’t need to be so open and available in a less corrupt system. Another thing that may have been different in Russia was the need for the oligarchs to flaunt their wealth in some of the most gaudy ways possible. American oligarchs tend to have less need for public flaunting of their wealth.
Good point. Cannot recall how much Hillary made in her scam but assume it was much less than Slow Joe got. For all the corruption that can hide things Hunter’s computer gives all kinds of great info along with the 4chan discovered voice mails, i.e. bank account transfers, etc. First step is getting the agreement with the publisher. Who would give this idiot $ 8 million up front to publish his non-existent incites into the world. Think this was the cover for the Big Guy transfers. Maybe a long shot. Will check it out and keep you posted.
He is. But it is an accident and a result of timing and opportunity. Biden was the most opportunistic possibility even with his developing dementia. The long-standing Biden family corruption was irrelevant. Biden was the choice as the only possible Democrat who could unseat President Trump. That could not be done in any kind of straight forward routine election campaign. It took many collateral activities affecting the conduct of the 2020 election. Many of these were bragged about in a national publication after the election. This is all about Trump. Now we see the Jan6 Committee farce trying its best to avoid another Trump term. Even though Biden is our most corrupt President ever, the fact that his Administration’s performance will be the worst the American people have ever had to suffer through will enable a Trump resurgence in 2024.
Agree Bob. But what happens next? The Dems as scared you know what to have this guy out front in 2024. What can we do in the meantime? My idea is to advertise this guy as a crook and then, in the last 30 seconds of the ad, say who is supporting the crook? Then show Kelly in Arizona, the idiot Senator in Ga., etc. and all the vulnerable Congressional candidates, as voting with him 100%. Might work.

I think the Clinton’s did an amazing job with the scale of corruption of the Clinton Global Initiative. They are to grift, what Henry Ford was to automobile production. That said, Joe is more corrupt, he is just not as good at it.
Agree Don. But Bill Clinton did it after he left office thinking it would get Hillary in the White House. Didn’t work. But with Biden it looks like it did work. Lots of red meat here for McCarthy and, hopefully, McConnell next year. If we are lucky.
One thing that irritates me about NT scum is that they don’t take into account that Trump made his fortune as a private citizen while Biden and the rest made their fortunes as “public servants”.
Sorry, but Biden is a piker compared to Lyndon Johnson. Whether it’s the amount of money (Bobby Baker, radio stations), the rape of women (meet Jumbo), or having people killed. But Lyndon Johnson drank himself to death and is buried. It just shows how long the institutional rot has been with the coverups.
Good point. Reminds me to go back and reread all the great bios about Johnson and his times before the White House. Read all but the last two. Still hard to believe he made it any faster than Biden. LBJ started with his contacts in the 1930s. Hard to believe he would have made as much as Biden in 6 years. LBJ made his money before he got in the White House. Biden was a pauper in comparison. After Obama blessed him he was home.
One difference is that now the entire party is corrupt. Back in LBJ’s day there were honest Democrats.

Agree. But looking to dump Slow Joe before the mid terms. Never saw this before. McCarthy did not come after LBJ until well after the 66 elections. Kennedy did not challenge Carter until 1979. Weird times. Slow Joe is so stupid they want to take him down before the Nov.mid terms. Seems a little odd politically.
What is an honest Democrat? Not sure I ever met one. Maybe Dave Boren. Who I met in law school in 1968 before he went off to bigger and better things. And then get cross wise with the wise guys.
I’ve known honest Democrats. They may have been honestly wrong. And many of them became Republicans. But then I’m from the south. While not from Georgia, I’ve dealt with Sam Nunn and Jimmy Carter before he was president. They were both straight forward.
As far as the relationship between personal and public money goes, I’d nominate Hubert Humphrey and Jimmy Carter for your consideration. Although I mean more than that, too.
The way Lyndon Johnson got to be as powerful as he was in the Senate was that he was able to raise lots of cash from oil producers and then distribute it to other Democrats who would align with him. That got tax carve outs for oil. Which got more campaign cash.
Sleepy Joe never had anything so lucrative.
Both Nunn and Carter, if they were to retain their principles from that time, would likely have to be Republicans now. As with JFK. If only because the current Democrat party wouldn’t have them.
LBJ lives on in Austin. The top two radio stations (KLBJ-FM, KLBJ-AM), a high school, presidential library, UT school of public affairs, the primary body of water (Lady Bird Lake), … I can’t imagine any place in Delaware looking like Biden memorial in 50 years. At least LBJ was a patriot–Biden sold out the USA to all comers.

We had these types of old school Democrats in Georgia back before LBJ. To my knowledge they were not selling out to the Commies or joining with the new world order neither of which has any interest in preserving or restoring the freedoms guaranteed to be protected in our Constitution. Today’s Democrats and many Republicans who swear oaths are flat-out knowing liars.
Biden is certainly not unique in his corrupt behavior. How many congressmen and senators are millionaires or multimillionaires? What we have seen this past week with Pelosi is probably pretty common. I spent 5 years as a broker at Merrill Lynch and Prudential Bache in the 1980s. We were schooled very carefully in insider trading with the absolute sense that we would be prosecuted if we participated in it in any way. Since then I have seen repeated examples of politicians trading personally or through one or more of their relatives in stocks that they had foreknowledge of special circumstances which would affect the stock prices. None have ever been prosecuted. It is absurd. It is totally absurd to believe that Paul Pelosi did not know about the legislation that would benefit certain chip manufacturers when he made stock purchases of a leading chip manufacturer,NVIDIA. Even if he didn’t, the simple possibility that he did should have precluded any purchase.
As to Biden, we have incredible amounts of evidence from Hunter’s laptop of how he gained millions in assets while making a salary of a few hundred thousand a year as a senator. A blind pig could find the necessary evidence to prosecute him if the desire was there. That is what is lacking. No one really wants to protect the integrity of our government if they can build their personal net worth by remaining part of the team. Meanwhile people like D’Nesh and Martha Stewart get indicted and convicted of ridiculous crimes. It make me very cynical about our republic.
That’s my take. For decades in public office, he’s only been able to scam up $9MM?

Joe, Jim and Hunter should have had a foundation or some other front to launder the take. Direct payments to a crack-addled front man is a poor choice and a bad look.
If anyone looked at Bill and Hillary Inc. their buffers would scream “How dare you interfere with efforts to save Haitians and fight climate change!” The fact that, unlike legit non-profits, the money only went to cover Bill and Hillary’s expenses and provide income for intended future political staff is harder to prove.
I see today that the CHIPS act is up to $250Billion! That is a *lot* of money to throw at an industry. That might exceed to the total cost all existing semiconductor fabs in the world. Forget NVIDIA, put your speculative money into ASML, they have a lock on the lithography market.

But then, I wasn’t convinced Dianne Feinstein had gone senile when certain Democrats began trumpeting that she wasn’t any longer “all there”, as they say. That happened—didn’t it ?—soon after it was discovered that her chauffeur and general household caretaker was a ChiCom spy.
I think it’s possible that Biden, and the people who handle him, deliberately create the impression that he isn’t all there to prevent him being asked certain probing questions about his income, business dealings, past associations etc. What I’m saying is that, up until recently, the people who manage Joe Biden have preferred to risk looking, if anything, like they’re trying to conceal his senility to looking like they’re trying to hide his possible history of corruption. Now they try looking like they’re finally willing to begin admitting only that he’s not mentally all there. This, I think, is to get him eventually out of office without his possible corruption ever having been investigated. I wouldn’t be surprised if, eventually, their claim will be that he’s not competent to defend himself because of his cognitive impairment. I think they’re handling Joe Biden and his corruption this way because a lot of other powerful pro-Biden people have also sold political influence in exchange for wealth. (Those people may even have done some of that through Hunter.)
The other reason there might be for creating a false impression of senility is to suggest to people that Trump is also too old now for the job.
That’s just what’s left after paying off Hunter’s hookers and baby mamas, etc.
