A Toxic Formula
I expect the left to spin and distort but the reaction to SCOTUS choosing to follow the Constitution on guns and abortion has mutated into new magnitudes of deep stupid. The syndrome is generated in four steps:
1. Get the facts, context and/or actual events entirely wrong.
2. Attribute dark motives to whoever is to blame for or approved of the unwanted outcome.
3. Unleash a torrent of hateful, even violent emotional content.
4. Demand respect for and deference to these feelings.
I used to think that Twitter was making many people intellectually impaired because of a 280-character limit on expression but the reasoning processes of progressives no longer require the full 280. Nothing good can come from angry stupidity.

Good one. But I like IowaHawk’s “wear the carcass as a skin suit” better.
I’m definitely going to use this phrase myself. I think, though, you are giving them too much credit for their behavior. There must be something deeper than stupid.
It’s just astonishing that someone can find another interpretation. Neither case was complex…
The world would be a better place if IowaHawk had veto power over stupidity.
Maybe we should be grateful that there is no longer any toned, reasoned argument for personal autonomy, just raw death-cult noise. Can the bigger lie about human life survive candor? Is raw stupid more contagious than clever rationalization? Dunno.
What will these children think about abortion (and their mother’s values) when they grow up? Will they rebel or join the death cult?
The substance is irrelevant. The tragedy for the delusional is that these SCOTUS decisions mean there is no ultimate authority to impose The Narrative. Actual democracy is intruding much the same way the reality of the baby collides with the preferred version of pregnancy.
We are paying $6.00 a gallon for gas because of the fantasy than green energy could just be mandated. We did horrific damage for two years because of the Davos-induced fantasy that surrendering all authority to mediocre technocrats made sense. The fantasy experiment in guaranteed income during the unjustified shut downs has given us 8% inflation.
He’s sure been trying for most of the last 20 some odd years. But I think he gets off on old cars more. At least with jet like engines.
Did you hear about Alyssa Milano? She says this will “dispropotionately impact LGBTQ+ communities.”
Hmmm…
I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that the parents in this picture are being ironic — perhaps a little too ironic, given the reception this picture seems to be getting. They’ve got three beautiful children — and a dog.
And honestly, who would wish the living hell of three beautiful children and a dog on anyone (he asks, before pausing to scratch Lucy behind her ears and tell her she’s a good girl).
Oh, dear. That’s grotesque. Perhaps she’s trolling the pro-choice side by being absurd? One can hope.
I hope so. Can anyone zoom in well enough to read their ball caps? If the husband’s is Carhart, then my money is they’re being ironic.
