Democrats Fundraising on Anti-Grooming Law

Democrats are so upset that teachers have been discouraged from having sexually explicit conversations with four- to eight-year-olds that they are making it the centerpiece of their 2022 Campaign. They are erecting billboards like this across Florida in response to what they (and their media) are calling the “Don’t Say Gay” bill. Because if they cited the bill’s actual language — “A school district may not encourage classroom discussion about sexual orientation or gender identity in primary grade levels or in a manner that is not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students.” — too many people would agree with it.

Here’s the thing. They know “Don’t Say Gay” is a lie. Just like they knew “fine people on both sides” was a lie. But they also know it’s effective propaganda and will raise lots of money from affluent alphabet people. It’s also a potential distraction from skyrocketing energy costs and the imminent food shortages.

The Bulwark is, of course, siding with the Democrats on this. Conserving conservatism by encouraging grooming, I guess.

Hope they spend as much money as they have on these billboards. That will really show . . . no one.

Not really a surprise though. JVL made a comment on the Sub Beacon podcast in January 2021 that he’d helped save democracy. Sure you did Mr. Devout Catholic. By supporting the Party of Moloch. Hope that hoity-toity dishwasher is worth your soul.

    GAY; “Grooming America’s Youth”

It may be crass and unfair, but that’s just where we are.  I’m sure there are plenty of plain old gay folks who would agree that “the movement” has become Frankenstein’s pedophilic monster.

The damnable family-hating left decided to conflate these things in the context of this bill — let’s roll.

Well look at that. Maybe the folks at the Bulwark have a little more in common with the Lincoln Project people than we thought….

(But more likely they’re simply continuing their abandon everything conservative because Trump strategy.)

If ever asked how this is grooming:

I just took my kid to the pediatrics. One of the questions had to do with my child knowing not to keep secrets from their parents.

It is well known that a tactic of child abusers is to establish a repoir with them that involves secret keeping. At first, secrets are innocent enough… but when the kid is used to the pattern, then abuse happens.

This stuff is passed out to SVU cops on how to spot child predators. My sister passed that info to me.

The very fact they are telling kids to hide things from parents IS GROOMING.

The latter is certainly true but I question whether the former is, they are essentially running a campaign that pits teachers against parents. As we have seen in school board meetings across the country parents are not pleased with what is going on in public schools and are making that known both vocally and at the ballot box. So Democrats embracing this issue does not strike me as an effective campaign strategy, let alone effective propaganda.

Dave Rubin and many other gays just want to be gay and left alone or they want gay marriage so when they escape California they don’t have switch insurance plans. I don’t blame gays like that. However, the loudest advocates for gay rights are Communists. Especially now that Trump has said he wants gays to be accepted into the mainstream and he wants to kill the terrorists who oppress them.

Communists and other radicals have always cloaked their malevolence with the  disguise of being for the little guy. Poor folks, various minorities and homosexuals have often been treated horribly. So Communists and other radicals come up to these groups with legitimate grievances and try to take them over. In a similar fashion, radical leftism subverts organizations that were once good and destroys them. Look at the Southern Poverty Law Center or the ACLU or the NAACP.

A similar thing is happening with gay rights.

In summary, yay homos and boo Commies,

Couldn’t disagree more, what a lazy effort. The board lacks anything resembling a rainbow, that is basic Gay Marketing 101. Now compare and contrast that with these amazing artistic creations, a pair of comic covers released for Gay Pride Month by DC comics.

Now these just absolutely scream fabulous! There is no messing around, these definitely let you know the gay is on. So I have to say Democrats please, do better.

To each his own.  Just leave the kids alone.  This government-organized child abuse and grooming is rapidly growing into a huge divide.  This may finally be the issue that gets the normies angry enough to fight.

The above link is a disturbing story about how grooming occurs. I am a fan of podcasts about serial killers, Most serial killers are dumb and get caught very quickly if the police are semi-competent. (I am not anti-police but that’s a big if.)

This podcast talks about how an effective and intelligent rapist acts. It’s all grooming. You need to befriend the kid and become the cool Uncle but also a trustworthy guy in your community. It’s genuinely horrible how effective this molester was.

Families aren’t great because they are made up of humans. But families are better than the government when it comes to kids.

DC is garbage now. Let me explain why Superman and Batman are insanely beloved by even the Marvel crowd. They stand for justice and decency in a badass way. Modern DC is now into the alphabet people. I love the new black Aqualad when when he was ‘merely’  the most competent member of Young Justice. I don’t much care that he is bi but when the story only focuses on his sexuality, his preferences become boring.

The guy was like an Eisenhower dipped in milk Chocolate. He had a talent for dealing with incredibly arrogant and talented people who lacked social graces. Then he went gay and all of that interesting stuff took a back seat.

At the risk of seeming to quote myself, which I actually am, but for a very specific purpose, one of the most serious problems we have in America today is that so few people actually READ the documents, articles, essays, books, legislative acts, etc., they feel so free to expound upon when they have not a single clue of what they are talking about. Here is my comment recently challenging anyone who as read the entire statute to find words even the tiniest bit close to what all these liars are claiming this bill said. And I know this is not quite squarely on point to your statemen above, but it does state my admittedly naïve (and at my age! Good Grief!) hope that people on the left, as well as so many, including some of our colleagues here who are devotees of venues like The Bulwark, would just be honest enough to read something before espousing on it. Here is my comment:

    Front Seat Cat (View Comment):
Like everything else, if someone disagrees with the narrative, this administration and liberals in general start with the labeling – you are a bigot or racist or sexist, and they start calling a legislation something other than what it is called.  It’s not an anti-gay bill, it’s a parental rights bill.  They don’t acknowledge the efforts that certain educators have been pushing to go around the family, or even withhold info.  They are teaching kids to do that.

This is an excellent thought and one which is very conveniently overlooked in the madness which took place after the passage of this bill.

I defy anyone to (1) READ the bill, in its entirety, every single word including the title and then (2) try to convince me it says anything like what some of these really out-of-control people are demonstrating against. This is best illustrated by the piece at The Daily Mail, here, which is illustrative, although very nauseating to read. However, it is worth it for the video clip of our Governor totally slapping down some whiny little reporter and demanding that he, the reporter, point out where the bill says anything like that. Needless to say, no answer was forthcoming. Thanks for a great comment, Jim

I read the fine print and went to the website.  Not much there except the usual “speak truth to power” and “horrible Republicans” garbage.  There’s a page called “Endorsements,” which  lists eleven individuals including Robert Francis O’Rourke (they call him something else), who’s listed as “TX Governor,” and Stacie Abrahams (who’s listed as “GA Governor.”)  Val Demings is listed as a FL Senator (she’s actually in the House).  Chris Jones (listed as Arkansas Senator) is actually running for governor, but doesn’t hold political office at the current time (he’s a nuclear engineer).

That’s four of the eleven whose offices are misrepresented lied about, by these charlatans.  I can’t be bothered to look up the rest (none of whom I’ve ever heard of).

    Jerry,

I think it is hyperbolic, but effective and probably appropriate. I don’t believe that the alphabet activists are intending to prepare these young children for a life of debauchery to suit their own twisted desires. That would literally be “grooming” as it’s generally known.

However, what they’re doing is sexualizing children, creating confusion at a vulnerable time, and encouraging a lot of young people to make terrible choices with long-lasting consequences. The fact that they’re doing it out of their own warped sense of human sexuality, rather than in anticipation of their own sexual gratification, doesn’t change the fact that they’re sexually misusing children.

“Okay Groomer” captures that idea in a darkly humorous and, I think, effective way, by drawing attention to the wildly inappropriate nature of what the left is trying to defend.
