That Government of Pharma, by Pharma, for Pharma, Shall Not Perish from the Earth

The public service unions have long had a symbiotic relationship with the Democratic Party. They get above-market pay and pension deals and kick back some of the money in campaign contributions. Now we see a similar pattern forming with Big Pharma. Politicians mandate that young people get the jab even though they are almost at no risk from COVID. Blatant lies are told repeatedly about the risk vaccinated people face from unvaccinated people. Natural immunity is ignored.

The unvaccinated in many cities, including New York, Chicago, Boston, and in two weeks, are forbidden from eating at restaurants and in museums in some cities. Shopping in stores is fine and staying in hotels is permitted, but by golly, you become a health hazard at Burger King or at the Frick Museum. It’s obviously about coercion rather than health. Abortion in all three trimesters is great, but if you’ve recovered from COVID you are still required to take the jab. You’re already safer to yourself and others wrt COVID, and you face additional risks from the jab, but you must bow to the dictates of medical expert Bill Gates.

Why are they doing this? Joe Biden is a corrupt senile man but not all politicians are that incapacitated. I lived in Chicago during the 1996 Democratic Convention and saw the huge contingent of delegates from the NEA. I see big Pharma as having both a big carrot and a big stick. Its tens of billions of profits from the jab provide a big slush fund. They can provide big money to either a politician or an opponent. And many cushy positions are available like what Hunter Biden got from Ukraine. We’re facing a huge crisis where the politicians are wholly owned by an industry that will require us to take its product regardless of the risk/return relationship.

A guy in the office had COVID a year ago.  He got tested for antibodies last week, and still has them.

    Warning! Rant follows:

Remember when all the Democrats/Liberals HATED Big Pharma? My husband is a retired pharmacist and always bristled at the idea of Big Pharma being blamed for all the ills on earth regardless of the costs of research they had to bear to bring new drugs to market.   Now even he says the deals that are being made are unconscionable – government demands that the people take experimental drugs with no idea as to long term consequences and no legal liability, and the enormous profits. And of course they suppressed any treatment until, surprise! surprise!, Pfizer was able to come up with a anti-covid pill. Just pile on the profits that will never be spent on malpractice lawsuits, but spread around to those who greased the skids. Was there a time in history when corruption was so transparent? So nonchalantly accepted? My heart hurts for those who have died from covid, but also those who will suffer lifelong effects from the so-called vaccine. I worry about my grandchildren who have been allowed to be ‘vaccinated’ by their fearful parents. While Big Pharma and the Swamp and the devil Bill Gates and his minion Fauci laugh all the way to the bank. Just remember boys and girls, we will all have to answer for our time on Earth. I’m glad I have a conscience and this is not on it.

Yep. I remember when they had bumper stickers that said ‘Question Authority’ too.

Great point. The left was right when they rallied against corporatism (because they are absolutely not free markets). They just got the details wrong.

What happened? I would love to have a good faith conversation with someone who holds the positions you describe. I need to know why all of the sudden, things are different.

Might it be that politicians are doing what they are doing because they understand something that you don’t?  Do you see any flaws in your analysis of the situation?

As an example, can you think of any benefit to vaccinating a young person, even though that person’s individual risk of death from an infectious disease is relatively low?

Yes, because it green lights full FDA approval of the vaccine, once it’s approved for children.  The benefit flows to the pharma industry.  More doses = more revenue.

Meanwhile:  CDC has cut the estimates of omicron in half.

Good thing we’re all getting quadruple jabbed as the virus winds way the hell down, and we’ve put vaccines into ourselves that do not have long duration impact studies on hand.  And now we’re getting mandates from work to continue jabbing until someone in authority says “Yeah, ok, I guess you can stop now, Pfizer said so”.

As others have noted:  I thought capitalism was bad.  Why are there no protests and rocks being thrown at Pfizer, Inc?

So…should we send them a sympathy card?

No good. I’ve known too many politicians.

Obviously one answer to “why are they doing this” is to protect the profits of Big Pharma.

But I think there’s another, which may be consistent with the first answer. They are doing it simply to attack you.

Who are the people who are skeptical of vaccines? Who are the people who aren’t skeptical of cheap alternative therapies? For the most part, they aren’t loyal Democrats. Coercing them to be injected, and preventing them from taking perfectly safe FDA approved meds is an attack on them for not being loyal Democrats.

If this political motivation wasn’t a big part of what is going on, I don’t think it would be happening. It takes a lot of people in a lot of positions to implement a coercive regime like this. If it truly made no sense other than to protect Pfizer’s profits, I don’t think you could get it off the ground. People in charge of implementing it, all down the line, would scratch their heads and start asking questions. But when, for example, an insurance executive is told to send a letter to doctors threatening them with a quality review if they keep prescribing ivermectin, he doesn’t question it because, subconsciously, he thinks that it’s really only inconveniencing Trump supporters. Same with HR managers told to fire the unvaccinated. It probably wouldn’t be happening, at least not like it is now, if Trump hadn’t endorsed HCQ.

This is the real undercurrent, the subterranean motivation behind it all: to attack you. Big Pharma is just going along for the ride.

Note though that far fewer blacks in NYC have had the jab. The vaccine mandates are disproportionately affecting them.  Trump increased his share of their vote but Biden still had a huge lead. Minority rights and disproportionate impact are being ignored. They normally act as if they are sacrosanct.

The PTB want to bring about the new world order with a social credit system which allows them to easily destroy the lives of dissenters.

This was never about a virus. It was always about population control.
