I’ve often said that my enthusiasm for Donald Trump owed a lot to those arrayed against him: anyone who invited such scorn and hatred from such miserable excuses of humanity as the hyper-vitriolic left must have something going for him.
I find myself feeling the same about young Mr. Rittenhouse. Just as I long ago stopped criticizing President Trump because the criticism heaped on him by others was so over-the-top, so too will I refrain from expressing anything other than wholehearted support for Mr. Rittenhouse.
Congratulations, Kyle, for prevailing in court. I hope public support for you from conservative America is overwhelming, and that it more than makes up for the ordeal through which you’ve been put. You have my best wishes for a prosperous and successful future.

It ain’t over. The DOJ is looking into the Rittenhouse affair and might make his life even more miserable. Shame on them . . .
One thing that has bothered me in the post trial liberal comments is the idea that HE incited the violence, therefore can’t claim self defense in the context of “what he had created”? And yet they must know that the high emotions were already there and that one of the protestors had a gun as well. What for? And that the other one swung a skateboard at Rittenhouse. And you can’t kill anyone with a skateboard?
I wish him well too. He’s going to get some scrutiny for awhile, and I hope he’s careful.
George Zimmerman, after his ordeal, had some domestic violence allegations made against him (Wikipedia mentions three) where the charges were later dropped.
There was also a person, subsequently convicted of attempted murder, that stalked and shot at Zimmerman. Zimmerman, post trial, has barely managed to keep himself out of legal trouble, but his overall conduct has not been stellar. Eventually the gun he used to kill Trayvon Martin was returned to him, and he first attempted some public auctions that failed, and in the end he reported that he received $250,000 for it. He did say that he was giving the money to charity, but whether he actually did, is unknown. Regardless, selling the pistol was distasteful at the very least.
I’d be very disappointed if Rittenhouse does something similar.
It is noteworthy that rioters are never responsible for their actions. They burn, destroy, injure and kill because some injustice forced them to do it. Rittenhouse is only a teen but accountable for his actions as an adult white male not serving some leftist meme of the moment but actually adverse to it. There is only sin when one is outside The Narrative, Peace Be Upon It.
The readiness with which morons glommed onto the argument that pointing the gun at men attacking him was a “provocation” was almost diagnostic. If pointing a gun at an attacker does not deter the attack then Rittenhouse was more justified in presuming an imminent mortal threat requiring an effective response. A normal human backs off and says ‘don’t shoot, I am not going to hurt you’ or something like that.
The characterization of thugs gathered because of the shooting of the execrable woman-beating Jacob Blake as heroes or peaceful advocates of justice is vomitous.
And don’t forget the miserable cowardice of the mayor of Kenosha and the governor of Wisconsin. Had they done their jobs, Rittenhouse would have never been in Kenosha.
Both are still in office, mouthing platitudes that the Rittenhouse verdict has “reopened wounds”. Totally useless…
