Just When I Thought the Federal Bureau of Instigation Could Stoop No Lower
Last week, the apartment of James O’Keefe, founder of Project Veritas, was raided by the Federal Bureau of Instigation (no relation), ostensibly searching for a diary of Ashley Biden (el presidente’s daughter). The diary, having been surrendered to law enforcement over a year ago, was not present. Two smartphones owned by O’Keefe were confiscated in the pre-dawn raid. O’Keefe was kind of surprised when shortly after the raid, a reporter from The New York Times called him up to ask how it feels.
While the diary has been published online for over a year and contains quite a few juicy tidbits regarding the, ahem, inner workings of the family Biden, we now know that the diary was a pretext. It wasn’t about the diary.
It never was.
We know this because in its hubris, The New York Times has begun publishing attorney-client communications between Project Veritas and its counsel. You read that right. The New York Times, in the middle of defamation litigation between it and Project Veritas, has received, as if by magic, privileged communication that it is now using to attempt to impugn further the reputation of Project Veritas. It looks like the FBI has leaked it to the paper.
This is the deep state.
The FBI raided Project Veritas on a pretext and is now leaking their privileged communications to the New York Times

Published in LawSomething tells me that the Federal judge who ordered the FBI to stop removing files from Project Veritas devices is going to have some questions as to how attorney-client privileged communications were removed from those devices and sent to the NYT. https://t.co/RWIr9NCzVB pic.twitter.com/NZhwO8nPhN

DNFTT!
You actually voted for Biden and encouraged everyone else on Ricochet to do the same.
Where do you come off not taking any responsibility for the current Biden debacle.
And while the January 6th incident was unlawful and an huge (R) PR disaster, numbskull (R)’s who buy into the Leftist “insurrection” narrative where January 6th law breakers are still incarcerated as domestic terrorists awaiting a trial which keeps being pushed off into never never land should wear the very same NT scarlet letter of Feck’en Uppery.
You made a huge mistake and Biden is President, to add insult to injury you buy hook line and sinker the Lefty Jan 6 “insurrection” domestic terrorist lie and now you deserve to hang your head in shame.
Yeah, I don’t get that, either. Abuse of power has been around for a long time. It’s not going away anytime soon.
Yes, given the evidence before me at the time.
By using this argument are you responsible for the January 6th riot because you voted for Trump. What is good for the goose, is good for the gander.
A huge PR disaster? Trump is now downplaying people chanting “hand Mike Pence.” They are being incarcerated due to them being a danger to the public if they are released. See my long comment citing the Court’s 30+ page opinion in the Nathan DeGrave casel
Not hanging my head in shame. I made my best decision based on the evidence before me in November. Are you hanging your head in shame for Trump’s behavior after the election and January 6th?
I have a half day trial so I won’t be able to respond for awhile.

I would point out that if not for the election shenanigans, a Trump win would have meant no 1/6. At least not by Republicans. Lord only knows what the Dims would have done.
Disband the FBI, create the Federal Law Enforcement Coordination Agency (FLECA). Their charter is to support state and local law enforcement when investigations cross state lines. No search or arrest power, empowered only at the request of state or local law enforcement agencies.
Past counter-intelligence purview needs to go somewhere. Secret Service (Treasury)? Might actually be a good fit with anti-counterfeiting operations as well.
Probably start a Trump/China Collusion lie which would fester and linger for another 5 years as the corrupt (D)/NT/MSM/DOJ/FBI/IC/Special Counsel proceeded to keep looking for
snipesnonexistent collusion/crimes, and ignore things which would prove the whole thing is a (D) political dirty trick.Still
betterless bad than what we have now.Not to mention flogging the Pee Pee Tape Russian Collusion lie for years.
Gary dude, you are batting 0. Maybe pick a different game (or even rethink your life choices).
We saw a taste of it in January 2016. Looting and burning in DC.
Now amplify it by a factor of 10.
I prefer this one:
Good idea. I disagree with you on the counter-intelligence though. Mainly because the government has been so bad at it.
Love this.
Need to disband ATF and all federal enforcers
Actually, during the Cold War, the FBI’s counter-intelligence work was rightly feared by the Soviets. We did not have as solid a record as the KGB, but there were two totally different different rulesets. Now we have a federal workforce that, like higher education, were systematically infiltrated while we watched and leading Republicans, including many on this site, harrumphed and waved it away as an exaggeration and impossibility.
AG William Barr found no election fraud sufficient to reverse any election.
Really? When did I last talk about Collusion? Did I ever talk about the pee-pee tape?
I am a Reagan Republican. I will live and die on that hill.
He did basically no looking, either. Especially at that time.
Reagan would have told you not to vote for Biden. Indeed he DID tell you, in his diary.
Reagan would also have told him not to let the GOPe lead him about by the ring in his nose.
I don’t think you’re allowed to mention the ramifications of a member’s thinking. /irony
He did not.
He didn’t even look.
There goes another at bat.
Answering in order.
Yes, really.
Don’t know. You did talk about it incessantly for many years.
Everytime you talked about “Kompromat”.
Who votes and gives money to Demoncrats. Reagan would be so proud.
I think Federal Police power is not explicitly allowed .
Two days after the election he order DoJ and the FBI to stand down on investigating or charging claims of election fraud. Such a titan. Such a hero of the republic. His hands on pillow pressing down hard on the face of liberty. There should be a statue in the Congressional Gallery. You know the one. Behind all of those fences.
Your welcome
And two guys I expected to help him (Sessions and Pence) failed to help with Flynn. Flynn would have helped fix the IC, which is why he was setup.
FIFY ;)
Sounds like one of those cult-of-personality things I used to hear so much about.
