What’s Scary About This Picture?

Republicans: Nothing. We like guns, and we don’t care about skin color.

Democrats: Everything. The gun, obviously, but also the fact that a black woman just had an historic win into high office in Virginia as a Republican.

Relax, Democrats. You have nothing to fear. First, Winsome Sears, a military veteran, is holding the gun, not Alec Baldwin. Secondly, as President* Brandon famously observed: if you aren’t voting for the Democrat, “you ain’t black.”

So, nothing to worry about. See you in 2022.

    Love it on both points.

My favorite thing to watch over the last few hours is Leftists doubling down on “racist dog whistles” while VA elected Sears and the state’s first Latino AG. It’s almost as if calling everyone to the right of AOC a white supremacist isn’t an effective election strategy.

And I heard her interviewed on Fox & Friends this morning. This is one sharp woman of faith!

I saw her post election speech.  She has a lot of charisma.  Her husband is good arm candy.  She has a good story and great attitude.  She embraces the Marine mindset of motivated & dedicated.

She may well have a national future.  Her post-election remarks were superb.  Check them out if you haven’t.

On Election Eve she went to Clark Brothers which is a big gun store on Rt. 29 heading from NoVa to Charlottesville. Great pictures from that time too. I think the 2A vote may have had a hand in (I hope but won’t believe it until it’s certified on November 15th) the Republican win. People remember what Northam and Herring tried to do and, I think, they got out to vote on that if nothing else. Prayers and fingers-crossed until November 15th.

Brings to mind the quote by Fredrick Douglas:

Shall we be wholly free, an equal at the ballot-box, at the jury-box, and at the cartridge-box, with the white man?

The lady is also a former Marine.

Good thing CNN and MSNBC cut way before she gave her acceptance speech.  She talked about racial progress and that “she has been black all her life” and that hasn’t stopped her at all.  Twitter idiots talked about her “whiteness”–I guess you can now identify with the race of your choice–Rachel Dolezal did it.

First we had White Hispanics. Now I guess we have White Blacks or something??  Larry Elder, Adams in NYC, and now Lt. Gov-Elect (please, please God but I’m waiting until Nov 15th) Sears.

I’m tickled to see she won, too.  I was only paying attention to the Governor’s races and a couple of local ones (disappointing).  NJ still too close to call?

Funny how the only people who seem to hear the “racist dog whistles” are the Leftist Democrats.

I’m sure that will be a Democrat talking point any day now: Keep the AR-15 traditional.

And what is that, a Vortex SPARC Red Dot? A fiscally responsible Republican might consider a Bushnell or Aimpoint for half the price. Is that really setting a good example?

(Honestly, I can’t tell what brand of sight that is. So many look alike. And the Vortex is really pretty nice, so I wouldn’t fault the choice.)

People are such amateurs east of the Mississippi.

In Arizona, when the collapsible stock and pistol grip on your AR are a different color than the upper receiver, you’re supposed to wear matching camo.  :)  Sears would look pretty good in desert camo.

I just assumed that she got up before dark, reached into her closet, and grabbed the wrong AR-15.

Understandable mistake. I’m sure she’s been busy.

Once you grasp that whiteness has nothing to do with race, you are Jedi-level woke.

Every Republican with a microphone or a pen should be pushing back at this canard from the party of slavery, the KKK, segregation and Jim Crow (not to mention the modern welfare plantation and race-eugenics inspired abortion policy) Every Single Day. Let the ‘fact’ ‘checkers’ explain how Eisenhower, Grant, Lincoln, Hiram Revels and Blanche Bruce weren’t really Republicans.

LOL, yes, some cognitive dissonance there.  It’s a fairly common girl’s name in Jamaica, and seems to fit her disposition to a “T.” What a difference–when it comes to stories of child immigrants whose families arrived here with very little, and who have taken advantage of the opportunities before them and now find themselves in positions of power and influence–between Winsome Sears and Ilhan Omar.  How much of that difference can be explained by the almost 20-year age difference, how much by the influence of the United States Marine Corps, and how much by their different faith stories, I don’t know.  Although, I expect, quite a lot on all three counts.
