Is PBS Living in an Alternate Reality or Am I?
It’s one or the other, apparently.
In a recent episode of the PBS News Hour, reporter Yamiche Alcindor had this to say about the president’s effort to push through his massive reconciliation bill:
So, this is really something, White House aides tell me, that the president wants to get through in order to really be seen as having a win here.
The other thing they note is that the president ran on this idea that he could make deals, on this idea that he could deliver transformational change to Americans. (emphasis added)
As I recall, Joe Biden ran on the idea that he would get things back to normal, which seems to be pretty much the opposite of “transformational change.” Did I miss something?

Defund PBS, they are un-American by choice.
For today’s Democrats, transformational change IS normal.
Another strong and brave person who watches the News Hour and lives to tell. The playing field is littered with the exploded heads of other conservatives who did same.
Think of PBS as the Pravda Broadcasting Service.
Just another instance of we taxpayers paying to be lied to. Other examples would be Jen Psaki and John Kirby. Those two, along with PBS, have raised lying to an art form.
The idea is not to convince you. It’s to convince those who pulled the lever for Joe that things are going just as he said they would go. Like our old friend Orwell says, “We’ve always been at war with East Asia”.

Not sure that Joe Biden actually “ran” … stumbled or ambled maybe. The sole basis of Biden’s campaign was to “Not be Trump”. He has delivered on that. He is not Trump.

Just imagine if Joe had actually run on the idea that he wanted to enact, in addition to a $1 trillion “infrastructure bill” that spent only 9% on actual infrastructure, a $3 trillion + liberal dream agenda PLUS the usual annual federal budget. Had he even casually mentioned it, Trump would never have let it go.
They always talk “tactically” to you. This isn’t an about figuring out what a good policy is. or being honest about what they want. ***It’s about getting anything leftist over the goal line.***
