Show us the Wranglers!

As I asked back in June in The Storyline that must not Surface – Multi-Media Edition:

…when does the footage from behind the scenes become the story?

Back then, a brave photo journalist named Senator Ted Cruz at least dared show us the face of one of the thuggish wranglers that seem to be all over the White House coverage today:

https://twitter.com/i/status/1376183991162834948

As for today, certain corners of the internet will at least reference the thugs. Like here:

…Biden’s wranglers cut the British PM off mid-sentence, yelling at the media to leave the room. Biden eventually appeared prepared to respond to a question about the border from CBS’s Ed O’Keefe, but the wranglers continued to shout so that reporters could not hear the President’s answer. …

and here:

“The entire editorial component of the U.S. pool went immediately into Jen Psaki’s office to register a formal complaint that no American reporters were recognized for questions in the president’s Oval Office, and that wranglers loudly shouted over the president as he seemed to give an answer to Ed O’Keefe’s question about the situation at the Southern Border.”

and here:

Psaki Gives Outrageous Excuse for Biden Staff Screaming at Reporters

…But, as he was wrapping up, Biden staffers interrupted him mid-sentence. They started screaming at all the reporters to get out and pushed them all out of the room. Now, they have been doing this a lot, but this was so rude and so vehement, it finally even infuriated the White House reporters themselves, who have been constantly run over by the Biden Administration.

and here:

BIDEN’S AIDES WON’T LET HIM SPEAK

How far gone is Joe Biden, mentally? I don’t know, but his aides do. And the frenzy they display whenever it appears that Biden might have to talk without a script tells us that they think he is incompetent. …

“President Joe Biden refused to take questions from American reporters before his aides chivvied them away from a meeting with Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Tuesday.

“Members of the press were said to be “startled” by the “aggressiveness” of the White House communications team during the Oval Office talks.”

Who are these wranglers? Who do they work for? Who do they take their orders from?

It is well past time for these operatives to stop being nameless, faceless controllers of our “elected” executive. They need to be known by more than just the background noise they provide in the news clips of the leader of the Free World every day. These thugs and their actions should be seen. There should be a wrangler cam on them at all times. We should see their numbers and positioning around the room. We should see their activity and demeanor before being called into action. We should see their actions and tactics after being called into action. And so much more. (Are their email and text communications subject to FOIA requests?)

I repeat: When does the footage of these thuggish “wranglers” from behind the scenes become the story?

And most important question: do the wranglers use whips like the Border Patrol guys whipping their reins on the Haitians?

This is why Cruz is not a competent lawyer. He should have asked her whether she had the authority to order him to do any of the things she was requesting of him. If she said yes, he should have demanded she rephrase as an order. If she said no, or refused to rephrase, then he should have declined all requests and announced that her continued blocking of him would be treated as an assault, battery, or false arrest.

    After she showed her credentials.

    philo: thuggish wranglers

Perhaps we should use “zampolit”, although Hunter’s activities suggest “zhengwei” may be more appropriate:

It’s funny how Democrat administrations can treat the press very poorly — including spying on them — and yet the press continues to cover for Democrats at every turn.

It really is funny, that’s a good point.  Perhaps when one is that deeply committed to The Cause, being disdained or spied upon is just collateral damage.

When do the show trials begin?

These are THE Wranglers in my book!

And King George has a song that seems on target for Biden – “Write this Down”:

I never saw the end in sight
    Fools are kind of blind
    Thought everything was going alright
But I was running out of time
‘Cause you had one foot out the door
    I swear I didn’t see
But if you’re really going away
Here’s some final words from me

    Baby, write this down
Take a little note to remind you in case you didn’t know…
