This is Not Normal, Not Even a New Normal
If you are feeling bat-[bleep] crazy, or just plain bats (I hate to use that term bats, due to the Wuhan crap and is now associated with COVID), I just want to say (shout) – you are not alone! Not by a longshot. You, my friend, are not crazy, but normal in every sense of the word, so rest assured. The circumstances around you are not right. Your sense that this is the case, is normal, so check that box. What is not normal is what we are witnessing around us. Let’s examine:
Gender – I read on my Apple News, that comes through on my phone whether I want it or not, that the head of the American “Medical” Association wants to reject putting any sex or gender on a new birth certificate. It is now about feelings that are subject to change. Are you kidding? Please resign. Even Mother Nature knows this is ridiculous and not normal, not in the bird world, or the dog world, or even the bat world, will any of God’s creatures ever give birth to a fluid-gender, confused new life. This is orchestrated.
Sovereignty and Patriotism – Being proud to be an American has always been part of our heritage. Italians are proud of Italy, their heritage, and many pasta recipes; Greeks are proud of their very long lineage, olives and feta, and so forth. We all share a common love of country, family, and a delicious, multicultural soup, that I cannot imagine a homogenized sameness, where border safety and our history are looked at as bad. Yet we are being intimidated to do just that. America was and is a refuge – a place where you can speak freely, be safe, where law and order are part of the fabric of a society without a fear or intimidation of imprisonment, censorship, or job loss because of one’s beliefs. That only happens in communist and totalitarian regimes, right? Not anymore. This is not normal.
Free and honest elections – Being able to trust that your vote as an American citizen was counted and only once, used to be the norm. We took it for granted. Now we question every state, ballot box, even each other – was this an honest and fair election? Are the people that I voted for at the local, state, and federal levels really representing my vote? Will he or she do what they campaigned on? Is trust anywhere to be found among today’s politicians? Can we champion who we like without being bullied or silenced? Not anymore. This is not normal.
Health – We used to be able to afford a decent healthcare package. What happened? Why is our country trillions in debt with more money being asked for “infrastructure” when many cannot afford to carry a decent healthcare package? How many people are being paid to not work? Businesses all around us cannot operate because many are choosing to opt-out for as long as they can and they can’t find help. We still don’t know the real origins of a deadly virus that swept the world and is still going. This is not normal. A healthy society works and goes to the doctor when they need to.
Then we turn on the news and watch a country that we helped for 20 years fall into utter chaos and violence in 48 hours. Our soldiers and allies gave everything and it fell apart in two days? This is not normal and this is not America. A strong military does not “stand down” for several months and go through white-privilege screening. We don’t flood our borders with invites from other countries during a pandemic, with no way to house, feed, or screen those coming in caravans the day after an election.
It is hard to stay optimistic under all these current conditions that are weighing down on us like iron shackles. Sweeping changes that we are told are now normal. Innovation, more big tech, 5G, faster this and that – which billionaire can make it into space first – is it making life simpler, easier, less stressful, safer, or have we taken our eyes off what made our country and Western Civilization civil and loving, and allowed the un-elected and unstable to define us?
Godless, lazy, and directionless societies have fallen into ruin many times in history because fear and weakness are recognized and sought after by the unscrupulous and power-hungry who know no moral boundaries. They will seize the opportunity to ruin us. You are normal – most definitely. Don’t accept any message that says you are not.

The Dictator of Washington State has just reinstated his indoor mask mandate for everyone regardless of vaccination status. I do not intend to comply. I may lose my temp job over it. I am prepared to return to retirement.
Just wait until he decides that you have to be masked, to be retired.

Our dictator does not punish individuals for defying the mandate. He punishes the businesses who let them in. We will see what happens. Costco has their usual enforcers at the door. Today I wore a mask loosely to get in, but pulled it down once inside.
I can see that coming. Basically the suspension of any government payments until vac status is proved. No Social Security, no welfare benefits, no tax refunds, no business license until you are in compliance with the 100% vac status.

Building like a cork in a shaken champagne bottle – reading the news headlines is head-exploding. And to think all the talking heads had to worry about was the latest cringe-worthy tweet from Trump. It’s only been seven months and I fear we are in a very treacherous place.
I am fully vaccinated. I also still have my temp job, as the company has no internal mask mandate. I went to some stores yesterday and today, and noticed that a pretty high percentage of the population seems not to be obeying their dictator this time around. I find that encouraging.
