Good News and Bad News

First, the good news: A tiny win on a college campus occurred as Penn State announced it was removing a quote by Fidel Castro from one of its buildings.

And the bad news is that once people announce they are running for office as a Republican, the oppo-research teams start digging.  Even as beloved a figure as Herschel Walker might not be able to break through this dirt wall for a score.

The real problem isn’t Walker’s past. It’s pantywaist Republicans who won’t vote for a candidate unless they are 100% pure and wholesome — like a Mitt Romney or John McCain (yes, that was sarcasm, one of my many superpowers). I don’t live in Georgia, but I’d rather vote for an imperfect Herschel Walker than a perfect Reverend Wright Reverend Warnock.

At this point I no longer care about anything other than denying a (D) and more (D) hive voting.

So, they are concerned about Walker’s mental health, but not Biden’s?

I think the real issue is Herschel played for the Jersey Generals which was owned by . . .

Well said.  And, needless to say, the Demorats will never have that problem, as we see with every single member of The Squad and senators such as Richard Blumenthal (war faker).  (I could go on and on but I would run afoul of the 500 word limit.)

Holy cow!  Did you read the article about Herschel Walker’s mental health struggles including playing Russian Roulette with a loaded gun, and several examples of domestic violence.  We would be better served by having a Republican candidate who is emotionally stable.   It doesn’t need to be a Romney, but my goodness, Herschel Walker has had severe mental health issues.  The ABC News article is taken from an AP story.  Here is the AP story.  https://apnews.com/article/lifestyle-sports-nfl-college-football-coronavirus-pandemic-5e2875eec11e93f9a3bf1fc859137ff8

The AP story is based upon what is already in the public record.  Just imagine what the Dems will be able to dig up.  We would be well served to see if former Georgia Republican two-term Governor Nathan Deal can convinced to run.

Holy Cow! Are you saying mental health is a permanent disability? Eliminating the possibility of serving in office, where certain mental illnesses seem quite the asset? Maybe if Herschel agrees to a mental evaluation/cognition test our POTUS would do the same? Would that set your mind at ease or cause further internal torment of an error in judgement on 11/3/20?

Yeah, we are taught not to stigmatize mental health problems, and here is Gary Robbins doing his best to stigmatize them.

Thankfully there is already a better declared candidate, an “America First” Black entrepreneur with a real “log cabin ” story. Kelvin King is in the construction industry, so President Trump should have plenty to talk with him about.

Kelvin King sounds like a much better choice than Herschel Walker.

I do like Kelvin.  I got a funding appeal from him a while back.  Didn’t throw it away like I normally would.  We’ll see.

Holy Cow! Half the country voted a candidate into the Oval Office who is well into dementia and can’t put together a coherent sentence without a teleprompter. What could be worse?

What are the sources for this hit pieces on Walker?

Forgive me to blindly accept reporting from people that gave us Russia Collusion for 3 years and pushed the narrative that Justice Kavanaugh was a serial sexual predator

Look at it this way.  Walker had to know the hit pieces would immediately begin, starting with what was already known.  He also has to know they are going to keep digging, and if they find nothing, they’ll make stuff up.  I think it takes guts to run as a Republican these days, because the press is going to hammer you on the fact you eat puppies for breakfast, run over small children with your car, and believe homosexuality is a sin (the worst of the three to them) . . .

Um, I strongly supported the appointment of Justice Kavanaugh.  See my following posts: https://ricochet.com/563827/archives/mitch-mcconnells-great-column-about-justice-kavanaugh/; https://ricochet.com/561030/archives/a-second-washington-post-columnist-agrees-with-us/; https://ricochet.com/561017/archives/washington-post-columnist-agrees-with-us/; https://ricochet.com/559375/archives/bret-stephens-praises-trump/

I really do think that people can recovery from being suicidal. It is my job.

But, if people want to ignore Biden’s clear and obvious dementia and vote for him, I cannot see past Mental Illness being an issue.

I wasn’t talking about CNN or AP, which are clearly leftist.  They’re apparently in Ret’s mind to block, not mine.  I was referring to trolling on Ricochet.
