We discuss The Living Constitution vs. The Naked Constitution. Adam is joined by Ed Whelan, the president of the Ethics and Public Policy Center, and host of NRO's Bench Memos Blog, and by our own James Poulos: historian, lawyer, producer at HuffPost Live and a contributor to Forbes and Vice. In this wide-ranging discussion, the danger of the Living Constitution is exposed with references to Napoleon Bonaparte, flogging, and the "metaphysical aromatherapy" of Planned Parenthood v. Casey.

Thank you! I live in a very liberal area, surrounded by NPR-listening people who imagine conservatives to be hateful knuckle-draggers . Adam's podcast has exactly the kind of cogent, thoughtful and interesting content I like to expose my left-leaning friends to; showing them that there's genuine intelligence on our side.

Looking forward to the next episode.

Check out Hillsdale College's two courses on the Constitution! They're both free, well produced, and very informative!!! www.constitution/hillsdale.edu.
