Goldberg. Podhoretz, and Long are back for another bull session. This week, the Two and A Half Mensches cover the Chicago teacher's strike, why conventions are so..conventional, John's encyclopedic knowledge of old TV Guides, Sinatra's advice for George Michaels, why movies stink, and who Pod thinks ought to be nominated for an Emmy this year.
Note: Yes, we were not kissed by the Skype gods on this episode. We'll try and do better in the future.

My first job was with TV Guide but as one if the "suits", not the talent. Looking forward to hearing this.

Don't know if it's just my ears, but every time John Podhoretz is on a podcast, the audio breaks up when he's speaking. If not my ears, is there a possible solution??

It's because he was using Skype on his iPhone, which as you have observed, leaves much to be desired. We will endeavor to do better in the future.

Most of the time, Skype works quite well -- much better than the phone. In this particular instance, we just didn't have time to stop and fix it.
The version I just uploaded is a marked improvement. Give it a listen.

Skype issues notwithstanding an excellent podcast! One of youse should check out the Kelsey Grammer show, "Boss" since its all about politics and such...I think its on Starz?

Jonah, yours is the best line yet to describe the teacher's union strike in Chicago: "It's like the Uraki Orcs to Mordor." Very apt description indeed!
