I am sick to death of Obama. It was a treat to listen to what is going on in the rest of the world.

Good stuff James and Andrew, especially about Swedish socialism. It's hard for me to reconcile today's Sweden with its history. One thousand years ago your average Swedish guy was some Viking named Vigi Kinslayer on his way to raid England. Now? Your average Swedish guy is a post-op transsexual named Vikki Knutsen on his way to England for London's Fashion Week.

Ok, so I exaggerated a bit. But not by much.

ps. James, what do you think about Gov. Moonbeam's new hair-brained scheme to dig $23 Billion worth of tunnels under the Sacramento Delta to placate California's eco-fundamentalists?

Seeing the picture I was afraid this was some French version of the Blue Man Group--then I realized that the yellow streak was on the front, not the back. (Zing!)

I for one like it more when you talk about what is going on in the EU and England than about US politics. I get more than enough of US political analysis from other ricochet podcasts.

A lovely podcast. It was good to hear about a subject from someone that actually knows something about it, rather than a journalist.

I'll chime in and add that I also like listening to news from and about another part of the world.  Was rather disappointed when the podcast was abruptly ended for "going on for 48 1/2 minutes."

Thank you for the Abba, and for all that conversation about the Scandinavian countries, the EU and Davos.

I've had it up to HERE with Obama, Beyonce is nice to look at and better to listen to than Mariah Carey but still only about as interesting interesting as Mariah.

Keep up the good work.

This was one of the most interesting and informative podcasts ever.

Yes, really, I found the discussion of the Scandinavian economies a heck of a lot more interesting than any 'fiscal cliffs' or 'debt-ceilings' whose mention in other podcasts sends me looking for the delete button on my MP3 player.

A shame the podcast cut off when it did. Perhaps it is because I am getting rather indolent and European, but I could have done with a full hour of such talk, or more.
