Join Jim and Greg as they cheer one certain Republican win in a congressional election on Tuesday and a likely win in another, but also wonder what a national election based mostly on voting by mail will look like. They also slam officials in Los Angeles County for announcing the stay-at-home order is being extended for another three months. And they blast CNN for booking Greta Thunberg to be an expert guest for its coronavirus town hall.

Remember, gentlemen, “media” is not an other people label. From where your listeners sit, you are part of the media.

One potential benefit to elections by mail, at least if they’re 100% by mail, is that the Dems couldn’t just keep finding boxes of ballots in car trunks, or left outside homeless shelters and nursing homes, etc, until they get the result they want.

    “Potential” is the operative word.

Well we can expect the left to resist any efforts to make sure ballots are mailed to actual living, legal voters.  But at least they wouldn’t know in advance how much fraud is required.  I suppose they could still do ballot harvesting, though, and just mail them in.

But the thing is, with virus panic etc, the left might not understand how it could actually damage them long-term – more “stage one thinking” to refer to another thread – and insist on vote-by-mail.  Then measures could be added to ensure security, which might be harder to oppose if it doesn’t involve supposedly turning away poor minority voters who somehow can’t get the photo ID that they must have in order to do so many other things…  And the other typical protests from the left.

Exactly – just picture entire apartment blocks, neighborhoods or even union groups living under the thumb of Democrat gangs (yes, we have all seen them), knowing that to get by (not be harassed, have your children hurt, or keep your job) you need to provide your carefully mailed ballot to the crew chief.  It’s over…

Something Greg and Jim both missed:  an absentee ballot is not a secret ballot.
