Is there an mp3 version of these videos?
Is there a podcast RSS feed we can subscribe to?
I listen to a lot of interviews on my daily commute, but end up watching very few videos on my computer screen at work or when I get home.
p.s. I am a big fan of former Ambassador John Bolton.
Can’t agree with this enough. I have an hour and a half commute, as I’m sure many Ricochetti have similar circumstances, so these podcasts and media presentations are godsends. Please offer as many as you can get away with.
I couldn’t agree less. Some of us are “visual” and absorb what we hear far better when we can watch at the same time. This is true also of those of us who are partially hard of hearing. Also, facial expressions, gestures, and body language help greatly in properly understanding and interpreting what is said. Another part of this is that having both sight and hearing engaged helps to fix attention on the presentation. And when someone as animated as (for instance) Prof. Richard Epstein is speaking, there is also sheer entertainment value in watching him or her.
Not everyone is in cyberattendance only while driving, you know. Indeed some of us are for one reason or another largely homebound. Perhaps a video AND a “podcast” would be best, as the two methods of presentation would serve both segments of your audience.
